Today's Hunt Sucked!

Feb 06 2005 - Okay, today hunt sucked! I’ve been killing cornundacaudas all day long for 5 hours, nothing, barely getting even, if you dont count decay. Then, decided to use Jester, and went for snables. Bullshit. Nada.
Then, back to caudas, then feffs, and faucervix. Bullcrap. All loot I got was goblin and pixie parts, which I now have in abundance.

Anybody else had a crappy loot experience to post or complain about? Feel free to do so in this bitter thread.

This will be a sort of cry-baby diary, wet-pillow style.

Just put a date of the hunt in bold, in left corner, just like I did, and start describing what the hell went wrong.

Feb 4-6 2005: I can’t really complain since overall PE has been quite good to me.

But.. I’ve kept track of the amount I’ve spent hunting the last few days, and the amount of Minis and Globals I’ve got :wink:

1800 PED spent now since I kept track of it, and my exceptional loots (sarcasm intended) are as follows:

18 PED Cornundacauda Provider
17 PED Argonaut Raider
13 PED Armax Cow Guardian
13 PED Armax Bull Old

Considering that Argo Raiders and the highend Armax have relatively high health, this comes down to a single Mini (Corn Prov) in my last 1800 PED hunting. It’s probably been a couple hundred PED more than that, but this is only since I kept track.

Skilling I’ve done a little better, 1 Mini (20-odd PED) off Cornundacauda Guardian in my last 48 Axe 1x0s. And I did get a 4 PED Exarosaur Young too when skilling with Jester and Mann Mph :wink:

My hunt went quite well. I did not spend an extraordinary amount of ped or time… 1 hour only with all melee (mostly whip). 200% profit however.

:wise: A word to the wise- NEVER expect to have a good hunt on a weekend Maniac … you really ought to know that by now :wink:

Actually, my yesterday’s hunts was both good and bad. simply because I decided to change grounds when it seemed to be bad. So I lost about 60 ped and thats mostly on ambu youngs and allophyls before I changed to a ground where loots were a lil better :girl:

All my HOFs and globals were on the nights between Saturday and Sunday! That’s when a lot of people are on. I always, always thought that’s why it’s the best time to hunt! Maybe I was one of those lucky bastards who get money when others lose it down during weekend.

Thursdays were my good mining days.

Well, yes I would say luck. Many hofs happen during the weekend, it is true, but MANY more players are on too :wink: Most ppl I know back off on weekend hunting or simply acknowledge the fact that their chances of breaking even seem to diminish on Sat/Sun and they are ready to take the chance

Yup, I rarely have good weekends. It’s a pretty common superstition that the weekends are always bad.

Oh about my hunting yesterday… Looted a Generic on a 50ped hunt. :wink: Thanks to insane pricing I sold it on auction for 144ped. Yipee! :cool:

about the corn beach… srry ppl for taking ur money there :wink: Ive found out how to do it… not gonna tell anyone on you peeepz though,… but its nothing special just keep doing what everybody says… :rolleyes:

anyway… jesterday I profited a normal sum.. normal loot = break eaven
profit = 1 generic skill implant and a mini @30~ped = total profit yesterday; 160 PED

I know how you do it, Cindy. I took a good one 2 weeks ago.
50 peds or so off a well… 10 ped hunt.

A general whine-whine:

I’m a broke ass. I put all my skills into training for land grab to find out that my soc dropped out of it.

had a really sucky 7hour long hunt with mod stark few night ago and lots alot but think I earned it all in today with some lucky loots:)

Killed 30 atrox matures, 15 longu providers. Not a single good freaking loot. Lost 10 PEDs, so got even pretty much, but it sucked!

I have been hunting corn young and providers recently in search of vigi and ive gotten is goblin harness’ at 40 pec each :mad:

First, i lost 1500 ped. Then i earned 1500 ped. Then i lost 600 ped. Then i earned 500 ped. So i´m pretty even all the time
