Aside from my character’s basic belief system in God Lootius and all…
realistically I have heard 3 theories. I tested them over the course of 5 months and they all seem to work some times, and not work other times, so, I care to share:
Theory 1: With VU 6, if you are hunting one single race of mob, no matter of subclass, old, mature, young, provider, just same race, and if you’re sticking with that race for like 50-100 kills, you’re guaranteed at least a global.
Theory 2: Perception skill plays a major role in your ability to loot items and more cash.
Theory 3: If hunting in a team, the less difference in skills there is between the partners, the better chances of good loot. Also, to get better cash and items amount, the partner with higher perception should do the looting of the dead mob.
Myself, I tend to believe in theory 3, because whenever the higher-skilled one loots, the team always tends to profit better. This I tested myself many times and it seems to work.
However, none of the 3 theories directly approach the infamous “multiplier mob” aspect. Is the multiplier mob always stays where it spawned, or does it get determined at the moment of the kill?
Would you agree, disagree, or alternatively argue with any of these statements? Any other observations of your own on loot and how it’s done?
