The Unreal relaunch should replace the existing Frontier-era starter proposition with an entirely new generation of starter packs created specifically for the relaunch.
The campaign cannot communicate:
Entropia has been rebuilt.
…and then send a newly acquired customer to a webshop stocked with the same Frontier packages that preceded it.
MindArk already knows how to build starter packs with appropriate combinations of ammunition, equipment, healing, buffs and other useful items. The opportunity here isn’t simply to rebalance those contents. It is to make the starter packs themselves part of the relaunch.
A New Generation of Packs
The new packs should have a completely new identity: new names, new artwork, new presentation and, most importantly, new Unreal-era items that visibly distinguish them from the previous generation.
That could include new starter clothing and armor designs, new cosmetic variants, new vehicle designs or variants, commemorative items, and other equipment created specifically for the Unreal-era launch.
The objective is for someone looking at the webshop to immediately understand:
These are the starter packs for the new Entropia Universe.
They should also provide increasing breadth rather than simply increasing quantities of the same consumables.
A ~$10 entry pack can provide an inexpensive way to begin playing.
A ~$20 pack can provide a broader introduction to Entropia’s systems and a more distinctive set of Unreal-era equipment.
A ~$50 pack can become a genuine “experience Entropia” package, giving a newcomer enough breadth to begin exploring multiple activities and enough distinctive relaunch content to make the purchase feel like participation in the new era of the game.
The precise composition and economic value of each pack is something MindArk already knows how to design.
The strategic point is simpler:
Don’t just sell new players more stuff. Give the Unreal generation its own starter identity.
These packs would then serve three purposes at once: new-player onboarding, direct revenue and tangible evidence that this really is a relaunch rather than an engine migration.
