You are maybe a bit of an exception since you had a unique offering (very nice masks). But otherwise, I think very few liked to go to those shops and browse or look for things they might need, as it required a run from the tp and was difficult to naivigate for many. I wouldn’t have paid more than 5k for one of those shops.
I’m just saying, I think you guys made out pretty well, even if the item count dropped a bit. I wish I had such problems.

To be honest, if I had one of those underground maze shops, I’d be pretty happy with the upgrade. I can understand the frustration with the time without a shop though.
I’ve just been over to check out what may be my shops. It looks great inside. Rent payments have been mentioned so I am checking those out as it should be free for the first year according to Marco.
There is a small issue with the tp’s inside that I have sent into Support so be warned if you go there. If you want to get to level 2 where some of the shops are, then click 1 in the TP or you end up where a balcony is (level 3). TP’ing down from level 2, clicking on 1 won’t do anything so you have to go up to 2 (should be 3) and then TP back down to 1 from there. It’s all a bit confusing :scratch2:
Luckily my shop size allocation is what it was before, which was 3 years ago in Feb. I can feel for you though Trance and any others that bought specific sized shops. To lose those extra points can be quite detrimental to a business or service.
As for those saying you have a Mall shop now blah blah, well for some of those people the shops are smaller than what they paid for so worth less than they paid be it in a Mall or not. It’s no different to someone paying for a 70 item shop under the Apartments and having them put back at 50 item points. It shouldn’t happen or at least there should be compenstation for it.
People specifically purchase shops on the amount of items they hold, not just location. Good advertising means location isn’t that important. I used to sell out daily with a shop at Genesis. Also, you still have to run to the Mall, there is no TP access from outside TP’s, just internal ones.

if ppl would read the support, post some hours before, then they could read, that i bought the shop to have a lot item points. With make up is no matter where my shop stay.. always ppl coming to me or, i was help to find or i escorde ppl to my shop !
Whit make up you need always a lot item points, thats why i be unhappy about this missed 40 item points. 40 is not a small amount, it cost 4k peds to upgrade to this back ! or 2 shopkeepers or more.
And never it was my mistake that FPC removed my shop, nor is my mistake if they make it in a mall, nor is my mistake if i have then 40 items less!
thats such crap. NOT BE ADJUSTED?!? what about all those options just put out by FPC that you have to pay for.
Seriously its 40 ITEM points what is the big freaking deal FPC?
They are worried that people will be pissed that bought other mall shops. So what it should be FPC’s face that pays not the customers. for them wanting to bull doze current shops and make a new better mall to put them in. DONT TELL ME they couldn’t have made it JUST like before. it was there CHOICE to make it different.
Honstly the solution to me is you’ve upgraded the Oxford peopls shops so now they seem to be worth more. People are maybe upset that this makes them equivilant to the shops in the malls. Well THEN UPGRADE THE OTHER MALL SHOPS TO so everything will reletively be better the same amount. Seams pretty simple to me. Give trance 40 points more give everyone else 40 points more. Everyone gets added value.
What harm will come from giving all shop owners more item points? other then they wont buy into the current upgrade offering. It will however increase the amount of items sold and then used creating more money for FPC/MA and customers.

I’ll check this when I get back from the holidays. I’m not saying anything will be changed, but I’ll double-check the reason for the reply given.

My guess: MA has mixed up the normal shops under the dear (which should be like nomal shops) with the small shacks in the cave (whuch originally had like 10 item points).
i guess support simply doesn’t know the difference. in a recent support ticket i had to give them the coordinates for pvp1 and pvp3…
Maybe they will fix the item points for you if you tell you had one of the normal shops under the deer and not one of the sheds in Thorkil’s Cave and that therwe un vu 9 was a significant difference in item points between basement shops and cave shops.
Moral of the story seems to be;
Don’t buy property.

Personally I loved the cave shops and went there often.
All the cave shop owners got screwed multiple times with all this mess. The least they should get is the original amount of item slots, but personally I think they should get even more because of all the trouble and lost business.
No, I don’t own a shop anywhere. I just hate people getting screwed over.

after all that pain and problems , and don’t have a shop for months, it would be just a way to show ppl, that they take care to the customers.
But i be just happy, if i get that back what i had befor VU 10… a shop with 150 item points… no matter where this shop is. i will have same stats !!!
