The more things change

… the more interesting life becomes :wink:

I do enjoy watching change unfold, particularly when it comes to music. That moment you realise that the really awesome track you found has been performed by others before, and how the context of their era moulded the presentation of the same message. Or when you hear a brand new version that hits as hard as the one you already love.

Here’s a trilogy of such :

1959 - One year before I was conceived. Parents probably listened to this when they made me.

(Will never know, adopted at birth)

1968 - Age 7. Older brothers played this all the time.

2020 - Discovered for the first time today (May 2025) at age 63

Growing older sure beats the hell out of the alternative.
