This isn’t about Entropia but I wanted to share it with those of us who still remain from the old days. It’s a video about someone discovering an old MMO and a skeleton crew of old players who just can’t bring themselves to leave, and it’s lovely.
I really hope some of the other old Entropia players enjoy it as much as I did.
I can definitely share the sentiment, Entropia is home. No MMO that came after ever felt the same, and I hope it remains home for many years to come.

This video is awesome ! Thank you for sharing. Totally shows that there are people sticking to a game because they really love it and considder it their home and a place to hang out with friends - even best friends also outside game.
It’s a bit ironic, that someone in this game have the power to ‘Superjail’ another player to never-ever be released again - losing 20Y of progress, avatar etc. Almost like a perm ban in Entropia, where someone is locked out, despite being a big part of the community for years … But I guess these modern bans / IP bans to exclude people, wasn’t even possible when DarkAge was created - so they were creative and invented SUPERJAIL … I feel Yukii is a Dark Ages CM haha :saint:
Entropia will explode when this current universe gets nuked and we travel to the starts with new found planets and items and monsters to conqure!

I saw that come up in my feed but haven’t watched it yet.
Also I watched this video. spoiler Entropia did not make the list. It’s the top 250 MMOs of all time according to his online searches of videos and articles that make “top” MMO lists. The sheer number of games and ones that are dead and wayyyy worse and EU still wasn’t on there is insane to me. All it would have taken was one video or article to list EU and it never happened that he could find. Insane.
Entropia is not on the radar of most. It is overshadowed by Eve Online and maybe Star Citizen.. oe the plethora of other games people rather play than this sort of predatory mmo in a sea of a ton of predatory gacha mmos.
The average gamer rather pay 2k on anime pixels with boobies than entropia. Entropia doesn’t hit the right brain chemicals, at least not that it used to.
I agree and wasn’t surprised. However I was after seeing some of the back water games on this list. I guess I need to make a top MMO video and put EU on it and problem solved lol.
Year’s ago. Someone wrote a fan fiction called “on the run” I think. It was about the idea of a game mechanic in Entropia where you can get jailed in game for misdemeanors (much like what they talked of in that vide) and he keeps accidentally killing noobs or something. Was pretty funny IIRC. Let me see if I have it…
