And you were wondering how a real estate expert could contribute to a video game⦠there ![]()
This is another deed offering to raise cash but on cocaine
We donāt have the player base for the planets we have now, so why the hell do you think it will be a good idea to add more planets, they will all have to be under the Entropia economic umbrella , so no new planet will be able to balance itself.
Utter bullshit and more lies from Mindark.
Itās seen before in āAnother gameā that was just as if you where living a second life ⦠right? So not impossible. I find it extremely exciting news ⦠will there be open source possibilites? Will it fuck up everything? We donāt know ⦠we just donāt know ⦠so letās speculate before it even gets started! I canāt wait ![]()
I mean, it says options, so hopefully it will be like ComPet Deeds where you can keep your deeds as sentimental tokens or apartment decorations if you prefer (with a five+ year window of moral panic artists fear mongering about scammers allegedly tricking new players into buying the deeds hoping for payouts, without any of them being able to cite even a single, anecdotal example of this happening when prompted; to the newer folks, yes, this was an actual narrative constructed about ComPet Deeds). As for other planetsā items, folks might want compensation if they were being held for upgrade chains, etc., but mostly theyād be just as effective on other planets and I canāt imagine them being removed from players involuntarily. As for untradeable items from extinct planets, I have to believe at this point weāre close to abolishing untradeability. I canāt believe itās gone on for this long being so foreign and antithetical to the basic concept of Entropia, but mainly I suspect it was something planet partners pushed for as a heavy-handed way to incentivize player attention toward their respective planets by regulating transactions between Entropians. And the large size of their investments into planets maybe prompted MindArk to make some concessions to the broader Entropian experience they otherwise would not have made.
Lmao iz NEVERDIE behind this idea.
.
It will be interesting to see how this is rolled out and what options players will have in terms of customization when they find a planet to terraform. I am also curious how these tools to roll out to current PPs if they decide to implement. It looks like it could be fun but at the same time I donāt think genesis probes will be an easy or inexpensive thing to acquire.
Nope, it might be for high-end skilled (or rich) players only ⦠but again, we really donāt know ![]()
Can players craft those probes on condition for bigger planet size? :silly2:
So, basically, it is totally useless from now on to put PEDs into the progress of any mission from planets that have not yet agreed to adapt.
Because you will be ripped off of any gear, clothing, pets, achievements, asf. within four years.
Imagine e.g. spending many months, even years, and ten thousands of PEDs on the Jellypet mission⦠just to have it go poooofff.
How could that be compensated appropriately?āāIt will not.
I like it. Exciting to see MA try something new.
Most likely the case, but I do hope there is some aspect that makes it a true frontier - built with sweat, blood and tears in spite of limited bankroll. Frontiers are seldom settled by the wealthy. Frontiers should be the release valve for the disaffected and disenfranchised to carve new ways and means.
But thatās just an opinion. We all have them.

For this to work the game will need to have one global auction with no trade barriers, other planets canāt develop properly under the current system, most of them are dead or half dead with no economy.
Iām thinking more like Land Area 2.0 and not āanyone can now be in charge of making contentā
Remember, this game is highly complex and impossible for a human to balance. No way any human could start minting new items willy-nilly.
Going towards the Roblox model is, frankly, probably for the best. I know it will ruffle a lot of feathers, and as in all changes in RCE there will be winners and losers. But the opportunity to get together with like-minded players and make our own planets, is pretty exciting. But like all great ideas with grand potential, the devil is always in the details. The platform and the tools will need to be adequate to allow us to really make something worthwhile. That is going to be a big lift. But if you can pull it off, the game will grow.
