The Entropia Art Gallery - Entropia's Largest Collection of EU Art

The Moose is still in New Oxford, I believe. Huge building with antlers  I seem to recall there was a side entrance that led to a gallery, but I may be drifting across multiple old memories now.

You know, bugging MA for some heritage preservation is not a bad idea. This universe is practically ancient in digital terms, and we would be foolish to lose our history. Great job with the art so far, btw.

Oh I think you’re thinking of Deer Mall. I heard there used to be fashion runway and associated building that sounded like it dealt with the art, but that all that is entirely gone. Still, I see no reason MA couldn’t reopen at least the sales or unsold or abandoned artwork at the auction someday.

Yes.. my bad.. I always called it the Moose.. old habit. The fashion runway is also still there, but not active… banner still set to “Mr Entropia 2008” .. used to be an event area.. good times.

So this conversation got me wanting to poke around the Deer a bit more. Apparently if you fly to the top of it, you can actually clip into a hidden third floor. There are two shops that do not have estate terminals, and farther back is what looks to be another fashion runway. I’m not sure if there was ever accessible normally before parts of New Oxford were removed, but it makes you wonder what MA had planned there.

Nice find!

So, I’m not sure if you’ve seen this post from Ludvig|Mindark - it strikes me that this is the ideal time to drop him a PM and explore the possibility of them opening up an area like this one you found - I did suggest in my reply in that thread that your Art Gallery would be an ideal candidate for some dev support, but whether he’ll read it is another matter.

I know we could build community support too, so have a go - I’m a huge fan, you have my very enthusiastic support.

Figured I’d give a little update here. Back in September I asked support about existing artwork and maybe getting that out on the market again. Every couple of weeks it showed as updated without a response in my support ticket list. Today the case was closed with no response because it had been inactive. I figured at least I’d post the case here as an idea of what I was hoping support may be able to answer in part and as an ask for people to keep an eye out for other EU art that would benefit from preservation.

Sharing is caring!??

Effectively, paintings dont decay sitting on a wall, MA dont care.

They do effectively disappear though when accounts go inactive and the items are no longer available. I’d say close to half are effectively lost right now.

I understand that, they’ve also collected/retrieved items from abandoned accounts before and resold those items.

Bump for new colonists… soak up some EU culture, and appreciate what can be achieved when a player has a goal.

Just bumping this up in case anyone wants to see some of EU’s history and some now very hard to find paintings. I only know of three I don’t have that are in actual estates (either inactive players or those who want to keep theirs). The remainder on the list appear to be gone or hidden away in inactive accounts.

I am an returning old player and the history of this game has always been interesting to me but some how those paintings never did much for me.
I do have some nice Real Life items I collected over the years, which I still really like.

Will have to visit your place and have a look

I’ll have to figure out formatting for tables with this new forum for the OP, but when PCF was done, I managed to buy Lake X, DeMuro Painting, one of the few I knew still existed. Of the paintings on my to-buy list, only four remain that I have seen placed in a property somewhere. All of the others are unknown if they still exist much less being in an account that’s still logged in to.

Catching up in-game finally and just got the new painting hung. I also figured out the new forum tables, so the OP has a list of all paintings I’m still looking for.
