After breaking 2,000 in rifle, my desire to skill was stifled somewhat, as one would think it would be. I managed to get my rifle to about 2,050 before I took a small break from skilling.
But now I’m back skilling, and I want the journey to 3,000 to be as short as possible. Hence, I’ve stopped doing one very critical thing.
Checking my skills.
I’ve currently fired my Jester about 15,000 times since I last looked at my skills, and plan on firing it a lot more before I finally see what I’ve accomplished. I usually buy ammo in packages of 20,000 cells (200 PEDs) and use that up before I check on my skills. I consider that amout equal to ‘one’ skilling hunt.
Well, I’m doing five of those this time. One hundred thousand ammo cells. Fifty thousand shots of my gun. A thousand PEDs worth of ammo. I want my skills to be significantly higher the next time I look at them.
I estimate the five hunts are going to take a couple weeks at least. I’m currently about half finished the second batch of 20,000 ammo. After this 200 PED hunt is over, I’ll have three more to go before I’ve reached my goal.
Anyone care to hazard a guess as to what my rifle skill will be when I finish?
Note that I do not expect it to be at 3,000, or even very close. But I do expect big change.
