I just would like to find out what other people’s opinion is on the following. I currently have 100+ Make Clothes skills. I pretty much exclusively stuck to Level1 BPs so far (made just a few level 2 shirts, but got no skills whatsoever). I received some lvl2 BPs during my tailoring, and frankly refuse to BUY BPs (other than the Manell Shoes one I picked up for cheap).

  1. When (what skill level) should I start moving to level2 BPs?
  2. Any way to skill faster than I currently am? It took me thousands of PEDs worth of material to get above 100. (Of course I gained some back by TT’ing the stuff I got).
  3. Is it better for me to just buy a BP with a full QR? Or should I up the QR by skilling myself and should I just sell my BP when the QR hits 1?

Well I’ve never tailored, but I’ve done a bit of filter crafting and I can defenatly say that QR makes a huge difference, and it would be generally much cheaper to buy a high QR BP than to make one yourself. With a new BP I averaged 1 to 2 peds less per 100 click run (5ped total value). With the full QR ( well 97 QR) BP I would come up at near break even or just over on TT value every time.

I don’t belive so, no, at least I didn’t notice much difference. But 100 click runs aren’t very telling with how slow the skillgain was. It’s just cheaper to skill with.

skill you gain depend on COS.
worst is your COS more skill you gain.
but using bp with good COS is cheapest than with bad COS.
something else with same COS , the hightest lvl BP give the most skill.

So if I would like to gain more skills, I’d be better off buying new BPs from Mr. Technician before every attempt? :slight_smile:

better use lvl2 :stuck_out_tongue:
but all depend how many skill you whant for how mutch money.
i think its better get less skill per try but do more try for same amount of money.since more try you do , more chance you got found new bp.

That is how I approached things so far :slight_smile: I guess I’ll just continue skilling up my BPs then, and to keep using them for a while after I get them to full QR :slight_smile:
