Well. As mentioned in a nothewr thread, I found some dung lying near a crafting machine earlier this week.
Today, looking for the pec rock formation in Twin, I stumbled somewhere, and had a Soldier of Fortune moment. And indeed found a pec. Not the one to give up easily, I tried forcing my entrance elsewhere, and sure enough, I found a guarded stack of 11 PEC.
I LOVE little hunts like this. There’s a bunch of places I deem excellent for hiding stuff, and it sure does look as if I am not the only person.
What have you found lying around hidden for the insistent explorer, and where? Please, for everybody’s sake, don’t go mentioning coordinates. Just make it vague-ish, possibly mentioning the town or with some pointer to the location. However, this ought to be vague enough as not to get everybody to instantly know. I suggested Geocaching in Beast’s thread, but in fact, we might already have a form of it as it is
I used to find things hidden atop roofs (mostly Ithaca but once at the tallest building in Hades in as well). Not certain if roofclimbing is still possible, but if it is I am sure there are still things atop those towers
I’ve also discovered things in Minopolis, where there are many good hiding spots around.

I never will cease to see if there’s some way MA hid something at an obscure location just waiting for the player who is insisted and crazy enough to try out multiple things to see if he can gain entrance… And hopefully there’ll be a fat loot waiting…

hehe i dont know if any 1 found it havent checked yet but after my uber i went on a lil spree around placeing lil bits of pec art saying “WD” and then went crazy and wrong “warmdogg” on euros balcony and “WD is watching you” south of hades in the mountains.

I heard a rumor that you could find things in unexpected places . So when I found out that I could look inside trees, I would look into them when I was exploring looking for tp’s. One day I found a nice size pile of peds
At the time, I thought is was left my MA… Knowing now what I know of MA, I highly doubt is was some benevolent gesture on their part. I am pretty sure it was probably just someone attempting a transfer of ped between avatars. They were probably more surprised to find it gone then I was to find it.
I was so naive, I did not even consider at that time that people would have more then one avatar
I once found a Medium Heal Chip concealed in some plants in the Stock Exchange building adjacent to the Hadesheim marketplace.
I’ve also left my own share of items lying around for people to find. My most recent donation to nature was the words ‘HOF PLEASE’ spelled in PECs somewhere near Twin Peaks, about a month ago. I didn’t HoF.

I placed a fruit in a few locations to see if it would grow.
No luck of course, but was suprised to find some had been picked up from what I thought really obscure locations.
And crafting, if you make a few jesters it’s hard to resist throwing one on the ground before you TT the rest.
I think MA would profit if they dropped items here and there for anyone to find.
I remember a place in camp caravan where u could put pecs or peds in a little pool of water, u could see the peds but u couldnt pick it up since it was under the water A perfect noob trap

hehe, of course you can pick them up
… and I’ve found 1 pec once in the middle of nowhere, somewhere on that southern island, where Fort Troy is located
