I was talking to a friend about this and i thought i would post it, cause it was a very strange thing.
I picked up my son today from the airport, he is visiting for the summer. For those that dont know i am working near philly in the US for the next couple of months.
So anyways i pick up my son and we get back to my hotel and decide to hit the pool and hottub for a moment. We go down there and everything is normal, until i come across a baggie near the pool.. Soaking wet and strange. It is a coke baggie. Now i am not a drug person, but i know a bag of coke when i see one. Very small like the corner of a ziplock bag tied off. Hmmmm.. there is no way. I pick it up just to check and let my son continue to swim.
I see TWO more baggies of the same size on the ground. Hmmm. interesting.. WTF?
So i take my son up and we watch some TV and what not. I look at the baggie that is in my pocket and realize that it IS cocaine. I look to the pool (because i didnt pick up the other samples thinking there was nothing to it) and there are TONS of families around.
I wait till they are gone and go back down. Retrieve the baggies and take them to the main office of the hotel. The police come and test the “substance”. Sure enough it is cocaine.
I wonder WTF is going on. There are 3 bags of cocaine laying by the pool. I just picked up the first thinking… nah.. no way.
In my younger days i would have enjoyed this as a HoF. But now i see that KIDS are playing and swimming around these packages, my son included and i am shocked.
I am staying at a staybridge suites (a nice hotel, like a hilton if you will). And there are kids around where drugs, and quite a few drugs, have been dropped.
It was the wierdest thing that has happened to me in awhile. People who are doing coke usually dont loose thier stuff. Especially 3 bags of it (i am thinking about 8 grams… i dunno cause i have never really done the stuff but have friends who have).
Anyways, i just thought i would mention this on the forums because i dont have friends here and you guys are my connection to the outside world. Is this not strange??
What is someone doing dropping thier drugs at the pool. and these werent near each other, they were all around the pool. and who has 3 baggies and looses them??
I usually dont like the cops, but i thought it was required to get this stuff outta here. They thanked me for doing what i did and went on thier way. It was just something else, not something i expected staying at a nice hotel in a small town.
Just needed to tell my story, as i thought it was really weird. Not everyday you find drugs by the pool. Especially expensive drugs… Now i wonder what is going on around here.
