Sob story short: newbie (me) buys some tailoring materials at auction and makes some modest gains in tailoring skills. Newbie logs in the next day and all tailoring and coloring skills are reset to zero.
Bug or feature? Support hasn’t got back to me, and from the tales I’ve heard, I’m not holding my breath.
Definitly a bug if you are sure that your skills wen’t past zero.

MA support will be able to look and see if you had skill gains. they did so with me when i thought my intelligence was stuck (turns out i am just dumb…).
but, you might have had small gains on the sublevel (that little green bar) and not a gain on the top level (the number).
if all you saw was messages in the chat window, then you probably were just getting the sublevel increases.
check to see if your little green bar (is there an actual name for this?) has moved or is moving after you do some more tailoring and see a message that your skill has increased.
otherwise, hang in there. support will get back to you at some point. :laugh:

Checked the little green bar. Everything is at level 1, exactly as if I had never picked up a needle… errr, holographic needle analog controller.
I’m not one to rant, but it makes me uneasy when a big investment (well, big by my standards) can evaporate overnight due to a bug. It won’t stop me from playing, but I’m not going to be depositing more money earmarked for crafting until this is resolved.

i have had this happen to me except in mindforce i was sweating a lot and i made sure i got 1 lvl up then when i loged back in it was at zero never took it up with support tho :eek:

hopefully support will get back to you soon. from experience, it might be tomorrow or the next day though.
