Okay…been hunting for over a month now with a Jester D1 and Axe…so I have a bit of experience.
I CANNOT get any loot OVER 1 PED…hell, I’m LUCKY if I get 1 PED…I’m getting continuous loots of 6-32 pec’s.
The most annoying thing is; I’m not even breaking even…I spend 7 PED on repairing an axe for a half hour hunt…then I have to go back to sweating for 3 days to get the money back up.
FYI, I’m hunting; Bery’s, Daik’s, Combibo’s, Exorasaurs, Corn’s, Snables and even those Faucervix things.
Am I doing something wrong? Starting to get p’d off.
(I’d deposit more often if I knew I wouldnt be throwing my money into a bottomless pit)

You will lose money playing this game. That is how the company who makes it earns their money. My only advice is to have fun. If you are bored or upset with axeing then try something else. Don’t concentrate on the money thing. Put in as much as you are willing to lose and make it last as long as you need it too.
Well I certainly do not have looting figured out, but I often hunt the same mobs as you are hunting with my whip, axe and knuckles and if I hunt for at least 60 minutes straight I will get at least a couple of loots over 1 ped. More often, I will have a couple of loots worth 5 ped.
I think it’s just a string of bad luck you’re having. You can try changing spots, but some ppl argue that you’re chances are better if you stick to the same ground each time (kind of like playing the same numbers on lottery)
What times do you play? Perhaps the servers are extremely busy when you’re playing so you’re competing for loots against too many other ppl?
Anyway, don’t give up. As long as you keep sell off your items and keep going, do it I’ve known too many ppl in similar circumstances who stick in there long enough and eventually hof :wise: Just a matter of how much longer you’re willing to wait.
If u r looking at it as bottomless pit u probably think u can put a little bit of money in and then survive off of that, to do that is going to take alot of luck and alot of patience doing something u don’t want to (sweating) so the best way to look at it IN MY OPINION is think of the money u deposit as ur personal entertainment budget spend what u can afford to and have some fun spending it otherwise u will just grow to hate it.
even though your loots of less than a ped do seem uncommonly low for that long of a timeframe…
DD and Steel are right. have fun. you are not going to make money off of this game.
should you at least break even sometimes? yeah.
will you get a global one day? maybe.
will you get a HoF? less likely, but maybe.
are you having some serious bad luck? yep.
Don’t get me wrong…I’m having fun…its just REALLY frustrating when EVERYONE else around me is getting better loots…I know its just luck…but it happens too damn often for that to be the case. It’s like MA has cursed my account or something.
PS. when I wrote this I just got through WASTING three axes and 2000 ammo on over thirty creatures…without getting ANYTHING. So you can understand my anger yeah?
Off topic for a sec…I’m getting a deposit soon…what moderately priced rifle would you recommend for someone who wants to go slaughter some bulls? Would a Punisher do the trick?

30 creatures isn’t enough to gaurantee a 1ped + loot.
As for bulls… just get a couple friends to come with you with axes. Axe it down to where you need 1-2 hits left to die (I prefer 1, I live on the edge… of stupidity! :laugh: ) then when you get low run off while your friends finish it off of you. This worked damn good for me the past couple days and resulted in some decent loots.

Yes! I am glad that Setheus included how much ammo and how many mobs he killed in one sitting…
ok- so here’s the deal Setheus… you need to go through about 10 axes… then you will see a loot improvement. And couple that with your rounds of ammo too
As loot is atm, you really need to go out and butcher A LOT of mobs (say at least 100 exars, bibos, etc) b4 you will get to a point of breaking even.

if you’re not breaking even on low-mobs, then dont even think of upgrading your weapons etc. You need to gain skills.. so:
Deposit 10$. Buy 7more axes to add to your 3. Repair them up to full. With any spare cash, buy full pixie (and a fap-5 if you can afford).
Then, go to SE of Port atlantis. Axe those Comb. and Exo. for 2, 2.5 hours until all axes are gone. You will see a total return of ±5ped. Usually in that time you’ll hit a mini, to give you profit
Thats the way to play this game at the low levels… its the best way at least

I’m noob. I’m playing for 6 weeks. I like to hunt alone and I hunt what I think I can handle. The more mob I kill I have more chance to loot, am i right?
I didn’t deposite yet… so I low on money. I hunt with one axe and 200 cells.
And the longest hunt was for about 4 hours.
I had loot of 11, 7 , 5 PEDs. Most of the time the loot is under 1 PED.
And I do hunt on the same place .
So I think is bad luck for you … or wrong strategy.( I have friends who like to hunt biger mobs becouse they give biger loots. And they are loosing 100 PEDs for one day hunting.)
Yes and no. Of course every1 should be hunting mobs that are best suited to their professional standings, as well as suited to their weapons That’s a given.
But the mob itself makes little difference imo. When i go out and hunt trox adults I waste a lot of ammo of course (and decoys, not to mentioned repairs)… so even if loots are bigger this does not equate to me earning back my money
I believe that the more mobs you can hunt in any single sitting the better your chances are… simple as that No, you will not always earn a profit or break even after each hunt, but in the long run you will notice a difference
