Goldpython’s Christmas Tree
Here’s ours.
We celebrate on Christmas Eve. We use real candles on it, and so it doesn’t stay lit for all that long, but it’s beautifult when it is. We just put it out an hour or so ago.
A couple items have special significance: The star on top, I made back in 1982. It’s soldered out of tin cans. We’ve used it every year since. I also made a matching candle snuffer, but it’s not in the picture. The creche beneath the three is actually a chess set given to me by my brother-in-law when I was a kid, probably 35 years ago. We began using it because we didn’t have a real one. We’ve never changed.
It’s been a lovely evening!
Merry Christmas to all!
