Ok i’m trying to be positive and not whining here so keep that in mind.
I just have a simple kind of problem and possible solution with the loot system. And mabey there is not even a problem and it’s just me.
My problem is it seems if i want to have a descent hunt(meaning better then 40% back) i need to hunt for like an hour or so at a consistant rate. If I say hunt for 10 min, go make my kid a sandwitch, hunt for 15 min, go help my wife take laundry upstairs, hunt for 15,goto the bathroom, hunt 20 min. I only get about 40% back. But if i hunt for an hour strait no interuptions i get about 80%+ back(which i’d be happy with most of the time).
I’m a busy person i have a 3 year old and a wife and only get spare time in between things. I wish that not so much the loot system be changed but there mabey be like a certain mob that suits my hunting 10-20 min at a time a bit better.
I dont know any idea’s is it just me this happens to?
Well I know what u mean I don’t have any kids but when it comes to my wife well pretty much the same as u that is the reason I mostly skill hunt or mine during the week days and then work out a deal with my wife for Friday nights when she lets me be for the whole night and I get to sit down and consume as many beer a possible and hunt till my trigger finger gets sore :laugh:
Come to think of it though that creates to many breaks as well :wise: "You don’t buy beer you only rent it "

For everyone its better that way…for me, i lose either way… i usually hunt on 15 hpour shifts straight with no global/hofs, and loses exceeding 1k but w/e :rolleyes: …but ya,usually for most ppl consecutive hunting is better than a couple min at a time
Yes i have the same question as Skam. I do the same thing for the most part Rex, always doing things here and there and rarely have enough time to sit in front of the pc for 3 hours for a hunt
I find, however, that I do ok with small breaks here and there as long as I stay in the same area and with the same mob
Im sorry to say.. but thats to bad for you.. because the only way to hunt and get a good % back (if your not uber lucky) is to hunt for many hours.. I usually hunt for 10+ hours.. and then im breaking eaven allmost all the time
Pauses sucks because everytime I take a short break some noob comes and steals my uber hof :mad:

actually, its too bad for you. if you have to hunt for over 10 hours just to break even…well, just too bad.
i often break even or get close, within 20%, of doing so in hunts that last a little over 2 hours. and, i take a break in between to repair.

that sux i only have time to hunt for about 2 maybe 3 hours (longer at the weekends) and i can break even about 70% of the time.
maybe your hunting the wrong sort of mobs
Hmm. Hunted for about 90 minutes last night, with only about 3-4 one-minute breaks. After repair, it looks like I came out a little shy of break-even (about 5 PED), hunting Corns around Argus.
Do you think that if I had hunted another hour, I would have done better?

I just think its sad that some people hunt 10hours to break even since I profit under 3hours without globals and then skill for 1-2hours with the profit and get more skills than those who hunts 10hours :laugh:
