I read some of the other’s so I decided to start my own…
I’ve been arround for a while now, so I find it usefull to keep a kind of a log
Weekend was indeed boooooring for me…Wanting to unlock Martial Arts and Melee Damage Ass. (I couldn’t help it :silly2: ) I kindof finished the ped assigned for this month, so I just wondered arround…Hmmmm, Monday now…salary day is due soon…actually I checked the account by trying the PE deposit section…not yet
I hope the atroxes will be “giving”. Last time the chewed on my armor pretty serious, so now I have to get back on them
Last week I decided to deposit a tiny amount and try to maximize it regardless of ped needed for repairs and such. It was my kind of protest. I deposited 12$ and made use of it…Miracourosly I am still arround 100 ped right now, with the possible explanation that I’ve been away most of last week…I’ve read the thread/poll about the protest march…I very much agree to it and bearly wait for that 12-14 weekend to come…I have the least confidence possible that the 100 ped will last more than 2 hours of gameplay…maybe if I get a shi*y 60-70 ped global the ped will last like a half an hour more…bahhhh…somebody on the forums remembered that in the old days, the global/HoF counted for more…now, (talking about mine) I am not even a bit happy anymore as 60-70 ped is not enough even for repairs…
I am really hoping my next entry here will be a less gloomy one
Well, I have to make another entry…
Last night I got quite lucky…this is the way now, lucky, not skilled…
I got a plentifull typo, 427 peds of it to be exact…they joy went off pretty soon as I tried hunting a bit and lost big time…some friends said that there’s no problem in loosing the money I got from the Hof, but I do not quite agree…
Dear diary…hmmm…bleah, I don’t like the sound of the 2 words in the begining…
It has been an interesting week. I had my ups and downs with no extreme peaks whatsoever. It amazed me that on Sunday evening I really had trouble connecting, probably due to the number of ppl already in…hmm…are all of them going to stay? In this case, MA should get some extra stuff to make the connecting “smoother”
Yesterday it was the best day for me, and not only. Loots were in a way “normal”, like long ago. I really had fun going on long mining trips with some defence (that damn sword that won’t unlock martial arts for me)…One of my ingame friends, Bolla, hit a big 1.5k narc yesterday. He was kind’a first of the ppl I know to get smthg over 1k…and it gets better…at some point in the past, we made a pact saying that whoever gets some loot/find bigger than 1k gives the other 10%…So you could say I kind’a globalled yesterday too, along with Bolla’s Hof…
And today is another day. I think I will log into PE and just look arround for some time. I haven’t had my morning coffee yet and I really feel like drinking it in peace…So long for now and take care, Sharyn.
Oh, and another week is starting…hmmm…last week was kinda good for me as I globalled 5 times in 5 different days, but at the end of each day i found myself loosing…a bit, but loosing
Yesterday I tried the new VU. I usually don’t pretty much fancy changes, maybe because everytime they occure I find myself loosing badly…like last night…anyway, I’m going to log in today and try some new stuff I have in mind
…and I got MA’s Christmas gifts yesterday…can’t say I fancy either of them…as a matter of fact I donated 'em to Panther to decorate his apartment and I went there to see the effect…minimal, I could say
(and I only got 2 of them, no star for Sharyn…I must have not behaved properly and Santa found out)

Yup, a new year has come. Woke up this morning with an itch somewhere in the back of my head…it wants me to log into PE and “play” a little…hmmm
I’d better not. I tried to convince myself (it is really working, for now;)) to wait for the next VU before hardcore playing again. I am really curious to see wether MA will implement that advert system and how it will work
IRL there’s a lot of rain in Romania…no snow…though I HATE snow, sometimes I think it would be a bit better that rain…damn rain is sooo wet;)
I had some errands to run this morning and I returned soaking wet…brrr
I think I am going to sum up all of my skills to see how much I progressed since the last time I checked…I actually wanted to do this yesterday evening, but I experienced some trouble with my internet connection…yeah, I forgot to pay the provider…so guess what was one of my errands this morning
I noticed the forums were pretty “quiet” these days…prolly lots of ppl were away celebrating :dunce:

Hello, my name is Sharyn and I’m a PE-holic. I’ve been sober for…damn, wrong text box;)
Lately I’ve been more on the forums and less ingame. I think that time is comming for a small deposit just to check how’s stuff. My original ideea was to wait till VU 8.1, I am still trying to hold on to that but I may “cheat” a bit. Seems that MA is taking some time before releasing it :rolleyes:
At the same time I am very curious to see how my CC will handle the changes to the depositing. Would I be able to deposit at all?
Anyways I’m planning a BIG team hunt with my friends as a “comeback” celebration so I will really have to dust off the armor and the rest of the gear.
So long dear journal and I hope my next entry will be an “acomplished” one though I cannot decide at this time what I would consider as acomplished;)
Huh, now that’s really been a while since I haven’t made an entry here;)
PE has been ok with me lately…well, maybe a bit more than OK with the 2996 ped Angelic find;)
..the thing about it is that I had completed my new set of armour a day before (actually a night before…btw, thx to Grossman for the last part) and I wanted to celebrate the aquiry by some crazy mining…it worked :silly2:
My entry here was somehow motivated by reading the last post in Lykke’s…yeah, I know dear diary that this may sound selfish, but that’s the way it is…
Well, it goes like this…though Lootius has blessed me in the last month with MORE than good returns, now those are going back FAST into the lootpool;)…lemme detaliate:
I get a way over the decency’s limit Angelic Flakes deposit (well, more and more ppl got some k’s peds startin’ Nov 2005) and that was soooo cool…at firts, yes…but the resource seems to like it’s place in my storage as the market’s demand is waaaaaay to low for what I got, plus some 2 other ppl that got the same resource and even in an xtremly larger quantity. Yeah, I don’t mind waitin’, sitting on an “Angelic Flakes ped-mine” but what’s the deal? Ped card does not allow me much, not to say that for some time now (well, 2 days actually but 2 days of continous playin’) it keeps getting halfed, no matter what I do. No, this is not whining, I couldn’t care less dear journal if you thought so . What I am trying to say here is that the stakes in PE are waaaay too high right now and that could make the on-line experience un-pleasant for more and more ppl…
Can’t really say that I am ready to take a straight forward decission about PE and stuff, but anyways this is a bugger.

Lately, I’ve been concentrating on skilling my longblades…though the skilling process is somehow slower than the one for ranged weapons, I decided to unlock Serendipity using my Valor…
Uhh, the word for skill increase might as well be inertia … I think it will be a looooong, looooong journey.
You might not be aware, but on the 15th of April, roughly a month and a half from now, it will be exactly on year since I started to play for real and of course to deposit
I tried to patch up my skill “Golgotha-hill” style progressing with some “outside help”, named Winamp … though this one ( Rob Zombie - Spookshow baby ) seemed quite motivating, the final result is shown in the picture below…
I’m doing great…well, close to great…it can never be GREAT in PE, can it? :laugh:
Now seriously, these passed couple of days were extremly full of nice funny stuff…and pedz too, yes!
I started my CND experience on Monday…not long after I got there, I got a BIG juicy HoF, just to make my happines grow
I also took part in the TV show event…that was also cool, though the lag was teribble and though I didn’t win anything :rolleyes:
I am still having a good time up there and tonite Lykke was kind enough to let me sleep at her place…I used the floors near the auction the last 2 nights and I may have caught a bit of cold, plus that my back kinda’ ackes;)
I was so glad that I’ll have a warm place for the night that I even started to craft some chairs (I had lots of wood and no use for it really, lol) and I gave one to Lykke…

Yup, I finally got an apartment…main reason for me doing so was the fact that the storage made me pull my hair off anytime I wanted to acces it and store stuff in it…
I think it is actually a challenge to wanna store more than 100 items in an organized manner…so, I said bbye to the blue box and got an apartment instead…one could say the apartments are deluxe storages, with a 10 ped/month fee…nevertheless I see 'em as a way of unleashing the creativity in people, and creativity I like;)
Now, having all settled in, I decided to work on a project of mine…the modifying of a (not ancient 'cause “my fault”…I repaired it) Solomate Outbacko…maybe, who knows, if I gave it enough working hours I could make an “Sharyn’s Adjusted Solomate Outbacko” … haven’t though about the stats yet…

Having globalled at the end of the day and feeling quite glad about it, I decided to go back workin’ on “Sharyn’s Adjusted Solomate Outbacko”…This time I bought a laptop and I even made some wires, necessary for a better diagnostic of the weapons perfomances…
…today I felt quite creative…I even dreamt about a melee amp…one that’s not (L)…uhhh, that would be extremly uncool…see MA release some nice electric/fire/cold melee amps, but all (L)…bleah…I still hope for some cool non-(L) melee amps…maybe, who knows?!?..Marco (or Frank :D)…waddaya say?..shall I send a support case?..please PM me,
We shot and slashed 'em for a while, but seeing no interesting loot popping up, Fiona suggested we head on to pvp3 and see if we can catch some “lucky” miners … I was never before in that Pvp zone (excepting one time when, out of curiosity I went there with Panther and killed one another, lol)…
I must say it was a very fun experience…we met a Nem-suited guy on the way and we kinda killed him … no interesting loot on him;)
We searched some more and we met Lara form “The 8” at some point … extremly funny fight, with all of us jumping and fapping and omg the ped wasted…
Nevertheless, it was something new for me and I enjoyed it … that’s why I got to sleep quite late last night and now I’m having my second coffe

I don’t know how this happened but it seems you are one of the last ones to find out that I finaly unlocked Serendipity (3 days ago). The skilling up was slow enough to make me a bit mad but I did it finally…feeeew. Now bring on the good fortune!
Last night I had some more fun with Fiona. I met her in the same shop conatiner at Omegatron West Habitat and we decided to go wack some mobs…after some incursions in pvp1 and arround, we decided to take on bots (hopingly more powerful ones).
Well, our fighting trip was awesome and I could’ve gone at it for a long period of time but the ISP decided to “work” on my interent conn, so I was unable to continue to the end…
I’m sure there’s more to come this weekend though…
This entry is the first one after my withdrawal + 2 and 1/2 months break form PE … anyways, I’m back now and that’s not the reason I’m posting here
Tomorow, Friday the 14th I’ll be attending the first (at least my first) meeting with other PE players in Bucharest, Romania … well, others than Panther whom I’ve known since we were 12, lol.
The people attending, besides Panther and I, are Kerham and Preacher (Rodian Bounty Hunter) … we also sent an invite to Mr.Tzet0s, the egg guy, but he is yet to reply …
I think it’s quite cool to see the RL people you usually chat with frequently ingame and I suppose that if all goes well, we could try and expand the numbers of members present for a future meeting …
We’ll prolly take lots of pics, this giving us something else to do than talking about mining gear, rifles and so on :umn:
