On Wednesday 2026-04-15 at 08:00 UTC, the Entropia Universe servers will be taken offline for an update to release 19.6.0.

We estimate a downtime of 3 hour.

Let’s go fishin’ & cookin’ but please take your time, fish out any bugs and cook them to oblivion as many as possible before you start the live servers, 3 hours can be 6 hours if it means way less bugs! :smiley:

If new codex is expanding to RT , it would say to me they have fixed past issues that kept them from adding codex to RT mobs.
Is this assumption incorrect ?

So, fishing tomorrow? Oh well, Ill just wait it out and let you guys playtest the lice infested version we get. Im still waiting for Mindark to resolve the 14+ month old support case since previous addition of new professions. Honestly, Im grateful they havent resolved it yet since it gives me a reason to not deposit.

Sorry to hear, but at least it’s confirmed there will be a free to play fishing rod, so you can test it for free at least, if you want to.

and where is that confirmation to be found pls? Will it be the new sweating, but as it doesn’t require mobs that run dry, will players stay ‘wet’ 24/7?

Just a shame that I will be in bed during the downtime. So I will miss the start of the new fishing and cooking - but no big deal. I never get discoveries anyway lol.

I also neglected the museum the last 2 weeks - so I need to get back to working on the museum site anyway.

I will check the new systems out tomorrow night when I wake up.

By that time there should be L fishing rods on auction that I can buy hopefully not 100000% MU hahaha - but maybe MA put one in the TT?

Is my word not enough? :smiley: If that’s the case go look in Entropia discord, I can’t remember if it was said in the unofficial one or official one. Search for all msg made by Socrates today. You should find it.

Not necessarily, odds are the downtime may get extended. So unless you sleep really long long time, you may in fact not miss it! :smiley:

Very true we will see - well I plan on going to bed at about 10am ish takes a few hours to fall asleep so that will be 12ish then sleep for 6+ hours so up about 8 or 9 - I doubt it will be down for 12 hours lol

But thanks, yeah, it was at 12:53 on the older community chat - a “f2p rod (like the sweat tool)”. Maybe it is special in not needing attachments such as bait?
