For anyone who did not agree with me and has difference with my point of view.
I have read many of the arguments.
I agree that there are good days and bad (not only days, also weeks!).
Return should be calculated on a monthly basis (in TT+MU). I do that in Excel.
Last year I calculated out return on the hunt, every month there was a profit.
This year I started manufacturing, including some gambling (like condition). I’m still in the black. However, in all cases, I know when to stop.
If you see that the return is bad - stop!
Go do something else. The problem is not in the game, the problem is you! Very few people can stop in time, while using elements such gambling as indoor mining logic and mining amplifiers (or condition in crafting).
What you do if you continue grinding (yes-yes, next drop with terra 10 is ATH lol):
Feed the other players. Thank you for that from all of us! We love you!
Write angry letters in support, but support will not help you. You will be disappointed after reading their answer.
Write the history of failures here on PCF. Thank you. I love to read it. :argue:
Will do a depo again and again. For thousands of dollars. Yes-yes, we love you!
This is your destiny
Cure: If you gameplay during the month is always negative, it means, that you do not what you must to do. Change of activity (profession) or rest from the game for week/month. For strong addicts it will not help.
Return in EU is always close to 90% in TT, for all players. But not for gamblers, addicts and fools (it’s not personal insulting). EU is the game for them, who can wait and can do a calculations.
For them, who need only swirlies and big HoF’s without brain, excel and calculator I know only one cure - permanent deposit. :smoke:
To the OP: reading through some replies, I see many of the same types of things I got when I wrote a thread similar to this. You get a bucket full of suggestions, which is great - but leaves you with not knowing which to follow. Most end up saying - it is your playing style, you are gambling, stick with it, and stuff like that. I really feel for you, because I am in the same frustrated boat. I still believe we are the customers and if we are that unhappy and spend that much money - it is the responsibility of the company to do something or they will loose our business. I just think MA doesn’t care and that is their prerogative. It’s just a shame to be so frustrated over a game that you have enjoyed for years. I’m glad people in this game are so helpful. It’s just a shame that many of the suggestions even say they are boring. So in order to not blow your wallet you have to do something boring for hours on end… what’s the point then? That’s what I go to school for! LOL.
Right now I’m working on 10k puny mission on Caly because of these things. I do it for 20-40 mins and I’m bored and log off. That’s all I’m trying to do until I finish. Great game huh?
I hope it gets better - I don’t know - keeps posting, keep making support cases. don’t be silent or don’t rage quit.
i wrote a thread like this just 5 weeks ago. I know exactly where op is comming from. After my biggest low loot streak ever i finally managed to tune into my level and work my way back up again. I made some HoFs in the meantime, i saw close friends ATH just yesterday. Many things are different now compared to back then. But it still works. I am a little more confident about loot now than i was a few weeks ago.
I got a strange thought on my mind: Maybe the OP is a darn lucky person to be not infected with the HoF-virus. I wish him all the best for the future.
I haven’t seen swirlies in over 2 years. Over that time I’ve lost around 10k ped and not playing as much as I used to. I keep logging in thinking the next VU will change but it just keeps getting worse. So what where do we go from here? Mining, Crafting, Hunting…all major ped dumps so…
The UK Gambling Commission says of fruit machines: “All gaming machines are required to clearly display the percentage return-to-player figure (% RTP), or the odds of winning a prize, from use of the machine.”
I wonder if we should be seeing something like that applied to participation in Entropia.
