On 02 03 2003 with the addition of VU 4.3 the robot wars started. In this BU we where told that “The robots seem to be up to something” in the next BU 4.5 we where told that “The robots seem to be gaining strenght”. Is it my paranoya or are the recent events with Warlock generation 8 near the TP on TI and the EBN reports about the robots sounding similar to the info given just before the robot wars. Are you looking at a second robot wars what do you think ?
Also note that the new citys have no turrets for defense
A Trooper 02 tried to attack myself and Auktuma at his house on TI. Unfortunately it only managed to walk up the steps before realising it was too tall to walk inside :laugh:
Later on whilst taking people to space I noticed a dot inside my hangar, inside the room you cannot get inside yet. After some effort to try and determine what it was from outside it actually teleported through the wall and several people nearby promptly set upon and reduced the Drone 05 to rubble
So, think they are planning something big and just doing some recon work?

Even tho I dont stand a chance against warlocks I cant wait to see something like a roboattack on the amathera-cities. Maybe I can lock the door and watch it all from my balcony with a cup o tea?

Do a bugreport and demand that trapped mobs cant do damage on you. If we cant use exploits ingame then MA shouldnt be allowed to do it to us

Good post. This is something that was bothering me too. I also think ammo shot at trapped mobs should be given back! I don’t know how many time’s I’ve shot a perfectly fine, out in the open mob only to be told I did no damage to it and wasted ammo. Real fun! :rolleyes:
yes and i’ve been killed before by a mob that was “trapped” but had trapped me…no amout of jumping or running would get me away from the trox guard, which continued to decay my armour until i was dead…
I had no way of getting out of there…also many many occasions of mobs getting “trapped” in apparently open ground…
I’ve submitted a bugreport but no answer yet (nearly 2 weeks now)…
EDIT: forgot the main point, I nvr got to see the last robot invasions and would love to see it now, i know i can take out at least some
Ive just been watching a few PE movies and it appears that the last Robo invasion was the 15 of april 2004 almost a year ago does that mean we can expect one about the same time this year. Would be funny to see it during the boxing tournament
