There is some talk about couples ingame now and I wonder what RL couples are out there participating in Project Entropia?
I know about some that have been around for a long time but there have been some influx of new participants so I bet there are some more! Come give us Your story!
My fiancé, Stina Doris Strul, caught me infront the computer while skipping around in PE when I had been playing about a month. She thought it looked fun and gave it a try.
That was about 2 years ago now. Since we started almost at the same time we have shared a lot of the newbie fun and fear. I still remember when atrax young was a certain death and later on when we together managed to down the first of those :laugh: I remember that I followed a discussion where “ubers” stated that you ought to stay in same area for a long time to get something. We did and for the first time we hunted 8 hours straight without pause. It resulted in 1 hof and 3 globals plus a silent global containing an urban stalker :eek: As always it is the happy memories that pop up. We do have shared catastrophic hunting rounds and frustration as well.
Even if we do have slight different approach to the place we have became rather close knitted hunters ingame and when the sh*t hit the fan out there no words are necessary to solve it at best way.
Ofc, people in our surroundings can’t really get how we can spend so much time with a “game”. But who cares? In some time, when PE will have more than the current professions and activities to offer, I think we will see a lot more “non-gamers” hanging out in there!
My girl friend has an avatar too, but she rarley plays PE, she kinnda got stuck in another MMORPG that she’s playing. She’s been the leader for the most top rated legion in Era Of Faith for about a year (a hack and slash mmorpg similar to wow or diablo). I’d like to have her return to PE though. We’ll see.
A married couple work together in my society, which is interesting. Hopefully MA will recgonize this sort of thing is becoming more common and implement a defacto system within PE.
I’m sure there are many people that would like to have their avatar fall in love, weddings and whatnot. Sure it would be useless in the pursuit of more peds but to me it would just make the game that little bit closer to real life, which is one the reasons I downloaded this game (And the money factor )
Well, I got my girlfriend hooked on PE a few weeks ago when she came up to visit. She’s got an avatar made, and some skills that she’s been working on, but her time is also divided between a couple of other MMORPGs, so time for PE is limited. But, she likes PE and still manages to get some time in every now and then when she’s free.
My fiance has an avatar and a buncha clothes and some weapons but she doesn’t play much anymore. I try to convince her we should hunt but i think she’s against the game and thinks i put too much money in it. pffft n00bs. :drink:

Yes, project Entropia grows and I think all the new professions and features should soon tone down the hunting hack’n slash feeling. in fact, I think it already has to some extent. It will fit more different tastes of whats interesting about hanging out in an online world.
Well, he started first, and kept talking about it and showing me it and stuff, so about 6 months later I started, he made me his deciple and bought me some clothes, gun, FAP and armour. I only really used to go on when he was on, but then after I started going off hunting myself!
Once we went to the rig and he kept shooting me :mad:
I’m still loving it, even though I think he spends too much money on it when she should be spending that money on me!!! :laugh:

Actually it was my Wife who “found” PE, I started a character in January 2004, since my wife said it looked interesting.
A month later, my wife started one as well. She’s not spending same amount of time, but after more than one year as disciple, I received my gift, a real good one, thx Nema
Actually she was the first in Our Soc “modern” history to break the 1k lootbarrier, and this was during times when the Soc’s “corehunters” was speculating in who was going to break the barrier, and there came Nema, to everyones suprise and put us all in place :laugh:
My wife was addicted to Taipei once. hehe.. But that was many years ago..
