Revive killing

These threads about revive killing and the related support cases made me wonder if revive killing is actually allowed?
I had some vague memories that someone had been locked for doing it, but to be absolutely sure i submitted a supportcase:

Is revive killing allowed?
I mean, is it allowed to kill people that just revived and have absolutely no chance to defend themself?

Revive killing makes absolutely no sense to me. There should imo be an area around the terminal on Amethera and around the revival that is non-pvp…
if some1 wants to keep pk’ing some1 they can just wait until that person exits the small radius to do so… but at least the person could tp back to eudoria if he wished this way without being killed :wise:

I don’t understand MA on this one… can any1 offer any reasons why they would allow it that would make sense?

Yup, that’s why I laugh when I see certain people get a PK streak.. because I’ve seen them over their PK’ing at the terminals.

Got hit by a revive killer the other day, on the whole I’m not fussed as its not my ammo they’re wasting and I have large piles of paperwork and my laptop to work on until they get bored.

Its times like this I wish I could program my mouse so every time it dies it respawns me, then I can just leave it and let them shoot me until they go away. That way I can go and make a cup of tea

Hmm… revive killing can be a violation of the COU, am I not right?

According to MindArk, anyone who repeatedly causes distress to and constantly harrasses another user is in breach…

And I do believe, if the victim explains this to the revive killer, the revive killer is risking a ban…

but then again… MindArk cleared it all up… it’s okay to piss people off

Perhaps the affirmative answer of MA was due to the wording of your support. If you’d said “I’ve been killed just after reviving 50 times in a row by the same player. Is it allowed to do that ?”, i think the answer would have been different since, as some already said, it’s a violation of the COU (Art. 15d and/or 15e).
But, well, to me, the answer seems to have been written by a “lame revive killer”, especially the “You can bring yourself there with your friends” like “Yeah come on with your friends so i can make a uber PK Streak” :rolleyes:

MA wants to make cash… they are not going to stop someone who is blatently wasting cash shooting a player over and over and over :o and the bring your friends part.. didnt anyone else notice sarcasm?

Sure if the player is ‘harrassing’ you then you can file a support case to get them removed from that area or temp. locked, but i’d prefer to take azipherials approch - they will go away, just do some other work or grab a gameboy for a bit :silly2:
