I’ve done a search and come up empty on some of these points. Apologies if they’ve been raised already, but I couldn’t find anything of substance.
Yesterday’s Warp Speed stream prompted this after seeing the new avatars and AH changes. I believe the points below would help the retail sector.
1. Customized items visible when linked in chat
This would let people actually show the public what they’re selling, with no third-party platform or website with screenshots required.
2. Exact colours shown in a custom item’s description
Just like we already have for textures. Make the colours used visibile.
3. Enable textures and colours to be viewable as item links, so buyers can see the markup of each one used on the item.
The cost of an item can vary dramatically depending on the materials used to customize it, yet markup only shows an average. That doesn’t work for customized items.
4. Link AH listings directly to chat
Not the item, but the actual listing.
5. Link Seller pages from AH to chat
My seller page link would show all my AH items to anyone who clicks it.
Edit: I know proximity to an AH NPC would be necessary to purchase, but a read-only version would suffice.
6. Link Shop pages to chat
We already have shop search and shop name filters, so make this a shareable link too.
I’ll add to this as I remember more. Only had one coffee so far this morning. Any other suggestions are encouraged.
