Ofcourse!
But I cant do a lot of things at once!..
My question wasnt really if something was more important, i just wondered if this was relevant ![]()

A list of people selling tt items for tt plus is ok for nameing and shameing but we can all avoid them as we know the real deal noob who this effect dont know its bad deal they would if they had visted EF to find the list. With resellers sometimes you dont know if the guy is a reseller or not cant always tell so would be nice to know i dont mind sellling ores to reseller but not full armro where they will stick about 100 ped on top and essently rip someone off who could have bough it form me directly for 100 less

Iām working on one⦠I just need time, and with my upcoming trip to Berlin, thatās something I just do not have at this very moment.
A list of Resellers also would be good though. I like lists. I have a printed list of skill levels, a list of FAPs and their efficiency, a list of unlockable skills, and I sure as hell would not mind a list of resellers (I can save you the effort of the Furniture resellers. I have one. I have to admit itās an old list, and they may have moved on to other stuff (I know at least of the avis also was selling GSIs), but the more complete, the better) so I know who to just NOT buy from.

Good luck with making such list.
But do i qualify as a reseller or as fair trader ? If you making bad traders list you could also do a fair traders list⦠would be much smaller and much more usable then bad resellers list. Some time ago i was also thinking about creating while/black lists of people basing on fame they got and what they representing with thier persons. But⦠too much work and some people can be hurted by such list do i dropped idea.
Well I went with 1 I for one would like to know ![]()
Maybe also with some more details .. like what kind of reseller too

Lunar raises the main problem here, whom defines who is reseller? if i buy some armour and another peice comes up at a better price so i auction off/resell the original one, do i count? Is it fair to lump genuine traders with scammers?
the answer to this problem, at least within the auctions, is to implement searches so you can see if one person has loads of stuff at auction and make your own judgement.
Edit: though a black/white list would be a very good idea, a web forum where you can add traders then apply rep points.
Edit 2: this is pony as well.

ofcourse i think you will have a few pages than
If someone have lots of items at auction maybe he is just selling his stock ? If you check some people apartaments you gonna see few pices of some same items. I wonāt say name but some uber hunters got TONS of armors and other nice stuff in apartaments⦠same kind. So when they just start selling it they gonna be resellers ?
Good list
I for one would rather see a list of āgoodā traders⦠i donāt have any problems with people buying things and selling them for a markup,as long as its fair (and obviously not marking up TT items.
Better idea would be writing a petition to MA about auction order system. I would like to see the full name of buyer instead of just quantity price and expiring date. That would kill some auction resellers, at last for stackable materials⦠i want to know who is buying my ore⦠by putting higher and higher orders he can actually manipulate auction and make lots of cash in very short time periodā¦

thanks lunar!ĀØ
Ofcourse, there are problems when making such lists. But there is not reason to close ones eyes instead of dealing with the problem!
I do not know if you are a so called ābad resellerā, yet :)..
Here is one thing that would be classified as a ābad resellerā-thing -
There are 3 angel harness (F) in auc for tt+3k and 3 ML-35 for tt+2kā¦
The reseller buy thoose things items and put them into auction with hiked prices such as 1 angel harness for for tt+4.5k and one ML-35 for tt+2.5k..
That is not fair business, that is exactly what reselling are about!..Inflating the market.. ![]()

āDonāt do business with X, because he/sheās a GASP RESELLER, and will make a profit!ā ![]()
Maybe itās not the intention, but any list of this sort is just going to segregate and vilify part of the population, whom āsomeā people dislike because theyāre making money at it. I realise there are some bad eggs in there, but it would be far too easy to include alot of other people in the list.
I would suggest that if one does create this sort of list, that it be kept to a minimum and targetted at āworst offendersā, people who are reselling ttās, scamming, etcā¦or people who are just unpleasant or offensive to deal with.
Voted YES.
BUT- Only list people who are trying to create the monopolies. I dont want to see 1 or 2 people buying 10 [ML-35ās] and reselling for way more than the current price, in order to force people into paying sick prices.
A list like this is (mostly) useless⦠Most resellers are noobs with no skills whatsoever.. If they see their name on a list, theyāll just make another avatar
Now if i wanted to sell all my stuff on the street and not put it to tt or the auction i would be called a scamer ![]()
no shit folks
Well maybe the sweat resselers shouldnāt scam noobs with low prices ![]()

Aye- lists can be nice up to a certain degree, but they do not really solve the whole perplexity of the problem.
The main issues with regards to truly bad traders are not the traders themselves but the ppl buying from them :wise: If one is stupid enough (ok, uninformed enough, uneducated enough, etc etc⦠you choose the euphemism) to purchase a tt item for more than tt (and yes that goes for newbies as well⦠newbies need to take their time, figure out the game, get a grasp of the economy b4 buying and selling things and if they do not do this it is their own fault) then they are the ones at fault. The bad traders are simply capitalizing on their āstupidityā. Likewise, this goes for other items that certain traders try to jack up the price on.
It used to be that traders were quite well regarded. It used to be that traders went from town to town, keeping a close watch at who was selling and buying what in all chat, knowing what their clients wanted and what they were willing to pay for it, etc. Now, we have auction campers and the like that have spoiled the true art of trading.
Fortunately, for those among us with a brain, we can tell a good trader from a bad one
As in rl, itās rather a dog-eat-dog world. There is little one can do to help another person who is not willing to take the time to learn.
With that said, there are certain ppl that attempt to buy up the marketās share of certain ores/minerals/etc. for their own benefit, thus adversely affecting the overall buying population. Sure a list could be compiled, but indeed they will just begin with new avis and no1 will really care b/c most of the trading that goes on nowadays occurs over auction.
From a personal perspective, if I can trade for something face to face rather than over auction, and if I can inform myself of the markets sufficiently, and if I develop good relationships with traders and suppliers, then I feel in some small way I am not contributing to the ābad traderā problem in game.
Just a thought ![]()

thats the bottom line, and anything you do to prevent scammers will only hurt genuine traders. i dont think there is an answer to this, just like irl
