Somehow I stumbled upon tailoring and it´s allways nice to color the clothes U make.
I haven´t seen any charts or guides for the required skills for all different leathers & colors! 
So my question is: Does someone in here know?
One more thing… what colors are there?

He is the best colorer in game atm, but it will give you an idea of what he can do… obviously most ppl don’t even come close to this. Red and white are rather new colors that only sarah can do to my knowledge
btw- I do not believe any1 has the ability to color with black atm
what about leather tho? does anyone have a skill chart for that? i can do daikiba and snablesnot right now, when can i use cornundacauda leather?! ive got a bunch of it… love killing those guys…
Leather heavily relies on dexterity… Since Starman basically is only one with high enough dex to do “almost” all leathers id ask him maybe?..
Both colors and skins somehow depend on dexterity. Though dexterity is far from the most important skill. The skill requirements of skins and colors are more or less proportional (with some huge exceptions for example high level colors) to your professional standing in coloring and tailoring. Dexterity has a small effect on the professional standing and hence Starman can use high level colors and skins with his ~9k dexterity and very high tailoring skills. Though I would not recomment skilling up your dexterity to unlock colors and skins, it’s simply not worth the effort since you need really high dex for it to make a difference.
I did not follow the progress in my unlocking of skins, but I can currently do ambulimax skin at professional standing of Trained Tailor. If I am not wrong Chanel can do the same skins, and she is the exact same professional standing as I am.
I can do all colors except black at the moment. Though the unlocking requirements for the high level colors is so ridiculously high it’s not even worth dreaming about if you are not willing to spend a LOT of money (and/or time) into skilling/buying skills. Even the first two colors (purple and brown) are unlocked at really high levels, about Trained-Competent colorer. The other colors are really really much higher.
I hope this helps you a bit with your choice of profession. A warning though. Tailoring is really expensive. Material costs a bunch and each tailoring try involves a lot of money which makes it possible to lose a lot of money. Coloring doesn’t cost as much to skill, about 1-2 pec per try if you use the clothes you tailor (really slow skilling) or about 8-9 pec per try if you use coloring/bleaching (much faster). Though remember you always get 0% return on coloring skilling, which means it’s equal to 8-9 pec loss per attempt in coloring. A big money surge… and no chance of hofs…

Thx alot for the info all of u! This will get me started, tailoring & coloring seems to be a very valued profesion. I have to say that I am going to have this as a second/third prioroty. Well worth exploring but… well time will tell. Thanks again

Colors are:
- White (spacemobs)
- Red (entities)
- Black (?)
- Orange (snables)
- Yellow (cornundacauda)
- Green (caudatergus)
- Blue (combibo)
- Pink (faucervix)
- Purple (exarosaur)
- Brown (combibo and berycled)
P.S. Purple and yellow used to be dropped by the mobs i mentioned might be changed now though.
P.P.S. Some other mobs drop paints to so feel free to add to the list

I got 10 blue of a diakiba 2 days ago and 10 yellow off a molisk today.
Atrax dropped brown recently and i got some lime green from something i dont remember.

Falx drop black.
I got Blue off Estophyl and Pluma… normal blue that is
orange.. lol well thats like the best to train with because it is soo cheap, and it drops off…alot I’ve noticed most mine I get comes from the stray snables that just get in the way… I dunno I’m still a 10 month old noob

it was said that you need to be trained/competent but how high is this?
Cuz I still DREAM of being able to color purple 
Does it matter what kind of clothes I use for gaining skills?
for example basic pants versus cloak
I just passed the 300 on coloring skill and got around 3000 cans of orange left but I’m fearing this might not be enough. Hom much more will I need?

I was reading through this, and some other forums, but I still haven’t seen anyone post anything to the effect of WHEN colors are available, skillwise. (ie- purple is unlocked at 1000???) I’m just looking to see how much further I have to go before I can do other colors besides orange, yellow, and blue… I hope I’m getting close… I’d like to use purple and green mostly…
