I´ve been thinking on the withdrawalsystem that MA uses in PE. When you have finished the process in the PE-bank and accepted to make a withdrawal of XXX peds you are really left with nothing. The peds are deducted from your cc and you have no proof that you made the transaction. Leave to this the silly long time it takes for MA to send you the money and im sure alot of people gonna start spam support for some update.
My idea is for MA to send you a reciept for the money you withdraw ingame. This should be easypeasy for them to arrange. Either you get a transfercode directly in the PE bank or they send you a reciept via e-mail.
It really feels abit unsafe to just click away 500$ as it is now and get nothing but a long long wait in return.
There is nothing when you log onto the webpage and you goto your trasactio history. it shows when you’ve deposited i thought it would show when you withrawl there.
Now,.. I’m no expert at driving businesses but,. I’ve been looking at the laws surrounding a buy/deposit/loan(swedish). I can’t find any regulations on this matter as to if it’s a must to supply a receipt(I didn’t go through ALL the laws, just briefly..). I do however now that according to business ethics(businesslaws in sweden) it IS. As to keeping the records for taxes at MA’s end it’s a MUST in their books. So there is a receipt for the withdrawal, it’s just not supplied to you at the moment( more than the notice at screen). Maybe someone has more experience in swedish law?
I have to agree that, at the very least, there should be notice among the list of deposits in the clientloader. And for those of you that withdraw bigger amounts there should be a written sumup for tax purposes at the end of every year(depending on country of course). Who knows, someone may have to declare the money as an income? lol
-Make a withdrawal from the website rather than the game. Deposits can be done from there, so why not a withdrawal?
-Cancel an ‘in progress’ withdrawal and have funds returned to the PED card
-Make an instant withdrawal to a credit card, upto the total charged to the card. This is possible under VISA/Mastercard rules and works well on many websites that I’ve used.
-Make a bank transfer withdrawal in a reasonable amount of time! 90 business days is not reasonable in any terms, it should be 1 month maximum.
If MA want a ‘real cash’ economy, these things really need to be done to improve confidence in the withdrawal system.
I agree, 90 (business days at that!!) days is a joke!!!
It takes 2 minutes to deposit money (and oh how easy is it? :p) so the same should be for withdrawal, if you make a mistake with the amount you deposit, for example, you need to wait all that time for money to come back to you? What if it’s a BIG mistake and you have bills to pay?
Also, the UK charges to withdraw in the system that MA uses (IBAN), we are currently charged up to £15 (depending on the bank) equivalent of around $22 to use this service, why no withdrawal to the card you can deposit on?
This really really really needs looked at, I for one am not happy with this system (and by the looks of things a lot of people are not happy).
The pessimist in me thinks that it is deliberate, easy to deposit money and hard to withdraw (which makes you more likely not to bother with it and spend it in game).

As it has been mentioned in several threads before, the 90 business days is to prevent someone from depositing 10,000 dollars, then withdraw them again, and make a chargeback on the creditcard.

Hm… isn’t it so, if someone actually do a deposit, that they do a withdraw
with just the day after, are the only money we have “the rights” for,
as long we don’t touch them? This kind of withdraw should go faster than a
withdraw that are done from money that are looted… but who knows?

What I meant was the quite opposite. If you GET a receipt, without acctually owning the rights to it, thats where the juridicial problems gets into things.
According to the EULA you dont own anything. But then if you did you had to pay taxes for it. Now does anyone know what happens with the money you actually get from MindArk? Are they subject for taxation? Or should I look upon these “gifts” from MindArk as “lottery-earnings”, in Sweden not subject for taxation if the lottery is within EU.
Hence I said a receipt would lead to a lot of interesting problems. If you get a receipt on something you dont own. Or if you get a receipt on a transfer that actually hasnt been done yet.
I dunno. Some clarification on these matters would be nice.
Well, the receipt could be about the “transfer in progress”, kind of a reminder
for the wife that the college fund of the kids once deposited to PE is
coming back within 90 days and no divorce is needed  .
Naturally it would not be a receipt of “transfer done” in the beginning.

Ok. I better clearify my original intention with this idea.
My point of view is that when you accept a withdrawal of lets say 5000 peds ( 500$ ) you should get some proof that you made the transaction. A screenshot of the transferwindow or the deduction of peds in red writing doesnt nearly cover that I think.
When you shop over the internet you usually get a code for every transaction you do…like a 8 numbers long validationcode or such. This code proves that the company actually got your order. This is what I would like to see in PE. There are big money revolving in this game and the sense of a secure treatment of those money is important.
The long delay does help protect MA from being used as some type of money laundering tool. I ceratainly understand that point and I want nothing to happen to my beloved PE! What I cant understand is how all of the online poker games get by with it. I don’t gamble online but I have several friends that do and they never wait more then 10 business days for their money they have won. Most of these ‘casinos’ are out of the states so they do transfer the money internationally very quickly. Im sure MA is looking into making it faster…
And the argument for not claiming money back is false too, you can claim on credit card insurance up to 6 months after the fact!!!
My original thought it correct, easy to deposit and hard to withdraw to put you off withdrawing in the first place, basic psychology/marketing at it’s crudest!!!
Besides, money laundering rubbish, if I was laundering a lot of money I wouldn’t be bothered about waiting the 90 days…as long as it came back clean, but you still have to prove in the uk and usa at least where you got the money from in the first place, records would show in any investigation that you actually deposited the same amount you have withdrawn (or close to it).
And about protection regards claim backs, shops don’t wait 90 business days to refund money, this is done at a maximum 3 business days, you could do the same there too.
The same protection is not involved in depositing money, I can deposit money quite easily (even if it were a stolen credit card), so why is the same proptection not in place for depositing? some numbers on a credit card statement don’t exactly fill me with much confidence, you can easily get everything you need with a keylogger…(online statements you see).
I am still a pessimist, and its a crude form of psychology, plain and simple. Easy to deposit and hard to withdraw. I just wonder if it’s to stop the game collapsing? It’s a protection against everyone withdrawing at once, this gives MA 90 days to sort the mess out if everyone DID withdraw all their cash at once.
Thats all this is. I bet it’s for insurance purposes.
If it was so easy to make money in PE that you would withdraw regularly, perhaps i’d say “Yeah, break the 90 business day wait”… But seriously, imho, ppl withdrawing from PE aren’t that many (there’s only 2 kind of them : the ones profiting in PE and the ones quitting… the second type are far more numerous than the first imo) and, as Mindark is a company which’s trying to make money, it’s quite understandable that they’re trying to get some money from your deposit.
Besides, you don’t know what they do with the money you deposit (at least, I don’t know). If they put it on a bank account whose funds are sealed, the process of withdrawing from it can take a while… There’s alot of things that can take 90 business days ( especially in the banking processes  ).
I think you should see your deposits in PE either as a pure loss so that you can have some fun or as an investment… In the first case, you won’t withdraw. In the second case, the delay of 90 business days is very short since you don’t make profit in that little tiny timespan if you’re really trying to make some serious business.
Lastly, when you say that “you can make a BIG mistake while depositing”… Erm, sorry but if you can’t even be careful when you’re “playing” with your IRL cash, perhaps it’s because you have too many money to spend (:D) or that you aren’t enough careful about what you earn.
Anyway, about the Receipt idea, even if i don’t think i’ll withdraw one day, it’s certainly a good idea ! Nice one Strakkan
