BP 110 and DOA is below 50k. Bc-80 traded for 55-60k low tier at last item rain. Can’t imagine anything going up these days. Perf electric can be bought below 50k and so can a lot of other great alternatives.

Camo or marber. The c ones are to low effi. Just look at the numbers given in the post above and you see how important it is to change from the M83 even if it means going down in range or dps.

You’d get the most dps dpp improvement from replacing C19 as it only offers survivability. So any crit chance or damage you can put left instead will boost that without losing any dps. Again, I don’t know what you hunt or what your budget is, maybe keeping the ring for defenses and LS is more important.

Take a look at https://www.entropiacentral.com/tools/ring-combo and https://www.planetcalypsoforum.com/forum/index.php?threads/ring-stats-visualized.303442/ if you want to look into switching

Yeah the old sights and lasers destroy your dpp they are not worth using unless you just wana juice up your decay on mobs.

Loot 2.0 is a good way to go if your chasing more stable and slightly higher returns over the long run tho with prices trending down still id hesitate buying into a 2.0 market as the weps ur describing would still fall into the 40-50k range and high chance will keep dropping.

does anyone have any more recent experience with the new exceptional (L) guns ? if he could find a high tier rate one of those in theory for the more casual hunter as i think he is , could that be a good suggestion between cost and eff ?

They are perfect as long as you do not overpay, just do the math compared to regular L weapons, how much will you win on efficiency? (+0.07% tt loot per eff.)
How much regular guns you need to buy to achieve same cycle and add MU cost.

Usually only efficiency gain will cover the cost of exceptional one

IMHO (Messi is mercyless as usual, its not that bad lol)

  1. armor is ok as long as you kill at threat level evader-5 and use resto.
  2. M83 is a tricky weapon, it has formally 3.3 dpp with your setup but has strangely HUGE swings in return

my personal idea of Meta is leech to sustain life and push looter to increase returns so…

  1. add desterity until yuou reach 10k using META Codex return, push to 10k perception and alertness
2- i would roll back to kill SMALL MONSTERS (under 100 hp) with melee to push HP and meta and codex to invest

as per weapon i would get the M82 return in a nice sale, invest it into a 2.0 smaller weapon for return stability
keep in mind that smaller hp monster mean more loot events so returns are more stable and going for a ESI longshot is not so interesting.

of course hunting with 2.0 weapons is nto so funny because returns are very much flatter…

What lol? How can they be flatter? Loot 2.0 do not affect volatility, eff. just improves tt returns by few % that you do not even notice short term

It’s been explained 1000x times and tested even more but still people mix effi and dpp impact. It’s funny to see the amount of DPP and ring talk in this thread when that doesn’t matter what-so-ever compared to hunting with low effi. Forget about rings, forget about DPP, armor and everything else that doesn’t matter. Upgrade effi and then sort out the small details like dpp/armor/rings later on.

OK - so some of you may know but I hit a pretty big HOF yesterday so I’m looking to upgrade. (The HOF was part of a team crafting session I was doing with a friend so we split all returns 50/50. So my take away from that was about 45k)

What’s the best effici weapon I can get without losing too much DPS?

I have been offered a T3 BP-70 Perfected but because I haven’t been looking for an upgrade of this size I’m not sure of the market prices.

Currently up for sale that I can see
BC-80 T4 is up for sale for 80k which is probably a stretch too far for me.
BP-70s are anywhere from 60k T0 upwards.

What other options do I have around the 60k mark?

lp-120 perfected.

Guess you didn’t read my skills hahaha

You can get it even if you can’t use it.

Are you motivated to skill for it? Perfected electric is a good choice. Mayhem doa should be possible to get below 50k low tiered. I guess doa imp sh twen is to high lvl req? bp110 is another good one for around 50-60 mark.

I think you can get Bc80 cheaper with some patience if you got pure peds. That’s a fine fine gun and I would take that before the ones mentioned above

Don’t think it would make sense to buy it if I can’t use it? considering I’ve played 21 years and still not level 100

I couldn’t skill up enough to get the perf elec - my MF is NIL
BP-110 is again a bit far away for me as my pistoleer skills are low also
IMP SH im about 12-15 levels off too but thats my highest profession and i could probably skill up to that

Going with pistol and having to run around like a mad man will probably make you regret later.

Go with BC-80, with a bit of patience you can get one at around 50K I think.

What tier would that be? 0?

Isn’t the mayhem doa lower lvl req? Bc80 is prolly the closest one to your M83. The doa is basically melee and that’s why it’s way cheaper than the others. Bc80 is higher effi as well.

I do have a tier 3 doa twen and I’m interested in going perfected electric or keyworks so if you decide to go that route shoot me a pm. I’d suggest looking into the Bc80 if you are not 100% sure about dropping the range tho as there is no such ting as range on the doa

take some time look at prices and you can start with a bp70, got very good eff imo

Welcome back!

I’ve also recently returned so as to your comment about not being level 100, things have changed drastically and skills move much much faster. Codex and focusing on mobs with low hp/lvl will move you quicker than you thought possible.

Personally I went the aug80 route as its an awesome all rounder with great eff, alot of the higher DPS weapons come with an eff sacrifice and thats one Im personally not willing to make.

As a fellow old timer I think the most important factor is something that allows you to have fun, whatever that means for you here, as thats the only way you’ll actually stick around.
