RADAR : quick Visual Optimization : very easy to Implement , with a pleasant Visual Improvement

Hallo Friends :slightly_smiling_face:

I have designed a Visual Optimization of the in-game Radar : this feature is very easy/fast to implement, with a resulting pleasant Visual Improvement, and MORE FREE SPACE on our Screen.

As you know, under the Radar we have 6 icons that consume some free-space on our Screen :

For those who (like me), frequently use the Radar, this is surely not the best solution : because those icons consume some useful space on the Screen, and their current placement isn’t visually very pleasant.

So I have designed a new position for those icons, in order to gain more free space on the Screen, and to generate a more ergonomic visual setup for the Player.

Note that this is just a 1st implementation of my solution, Developers can refine it (–> to enlarge this image right click on it, then open it in a new tab) :

This is very easy -and very fast- to implement, and improves the overall Visual Comfort for the Player, also providing more free-space on the Screen.

I like the current version more than your suggestion. It looks nicer and I never thought that the little icons under the map take up significant space. If they ever were to add this, I’d say there would have to be an option to switch between the current version and your suggested one.

For those players who significantly enlarge the Radar, those 6 “sparse” icons represent quite a waste of screen space, a disturbance. Hence my idea to regroup them elsewhere.

I add that the 1st implementation of my proposal -that is shown in the 2nd image above- is just a 1st rough example : e.g. observing that image I add that the banner containing the planet name and those 6 “regrouped” icons, might become a bit wider than what is shown in that image.
And, as I wrote, professional Developers can refine my proposal, at will.

On the other hand, surely some other people might not care, and prefer the current setup : moreover, I know that a number of players keep the Radar so small that they surely can’t be interested by my suggestion.

You say : “If they ever were to add this, I’d say there would have to be an option to switch between the current version and your suggested one” : SURELY, I agree that at the end it would be nice to choose between 2 options.
