Upon logging in after the vu I had a lot of trouble chopping stuff. Even when people stand still it felt like I missed them ALL the time.
Today I just did a test at a newcomer that had no avoidance or dodge skills. The outcome was rather surprising
My hitratio on 200 shots was 53%
You might call me a n00b, but even a newbie with no skills should hit more than that..
Both avatars stood still. There were no lagg and the ammunition was gone after a relog.
A short test with a couple of other players showed they had similar issues.
Have anyone else noticed this?
Can anyone confirm to have normal hitratio?
I noticed this also since 7.5. But it seems a little worse now.
Would be good to take someone with tons of skills, a mid level person and then a nub and compare hit ratios.
I dont think its based on defensive skills either. Its the whole aim thing. I miss loads. It drives me up the wall. I used to miss maybe 3 every 10 shots but now its alot more. 5 shots with plasma to tag a warrior at range.
Been finding it harder to make ammo funds back while hunting with an gun designed to make ammo funds back.
After closly looking at an few things I see my damage is considerable lower per shot now and an major cause for this ;(
Gun that I use as my main now is mod 117 with Dante amp. 13 burn 93 damage set up. With this very low burn rate (high decay) making at least ammo funds and then some back should be so easy but yet decay make up much harder
But yet since the last vu I have been struggling just to make back ammo funds and coming up like an few peds shy
PS : Im getting an lot of no hits now for some reason with this vu.. that worst kind of shot in my book 100% lose of ammo and no damage
I have actually found that I am hitting more, and doing roughly the same amount of damage, then again I am still >1000skill in rifle, so it may not be a completely fair example.
Yup, since VU 7.6 i get ALOT of missed shots, like 50% some time. Thats with 9600 aim skill :(. I filled a support case yesterday about that and worsened hotkey items switching and got a very polite reply that since VU them having alot of problems and more updates will follow during the week. Hope so :/.
My hit percentage and damage with all my weapons are way down since the VU and so is everyone elses that I talk to, we think its possible you have a bug, or something.
I was in the ring and a person with skills standing accross from me well within range and they could not hit me with their plasma for several shots, and when it did hit it was a lame shot. Same with firestorm.
I know you people didn’t upgrade my dodge and evade, so I can only presume its a bug that everyone is missing so many shots. …unless maybe you did it intentionally to make more money. Whatever the case, please let me know if this was intentional nerf or you think its a bug so I can plan accordingly. If its a bug, can you let me know when you think it will be fixed ?

I understand that you can miss with a rifle,but how do you miss with a 2 meter sword :mad: .And,does it decay when you miss?I tryed to find that out,and it sometimes does,sometimes not…
Unfortunally I cant disagree with you, I have noticed this myself First I thought it was constant lag in the mobs or something due to VU, but then I fired sh at people in ring.. :rolleyes:

we all finish miner in 2 week.
loot suks the hell since month , and mining was all time very good.
my worst mining run in past VU (before 7.6) was 80% tt back.my worst hunting around 50%
with new VU , i only made hunting run with 30 or 35% TT back
i will become miner when i read on CL , there more spot , and bigger deposit , i will probably come back with 130% TT.
also i know tons miner that never deposit $ because they earn a lot with mining , and MA increase skill gain , and deposit size…
i wonder why people hunt or craft ?
and an major cause for this ;(
