Purchase recommendations for a noob...

I’ve been playing for around 3 days, finally worked out that I could put $10 in without waiting for a verification code from my creditcard statement.

So I have 96.5 PED to get some bits. I’ve been live bait for a few hunts, it would be nice to have a weapon!

From what I can tell I should get:

Some armour - Pixie? whats the cost?
A gun - Jester D1?
Ammo - help!
A Melee weapon - Axe - which one?

I’ve got to stick to budget, and i’m gonna need a fair chunk of ammo to see me through a few days (week?) till my statement comes through - though ideally I want to keep investment to a minimum.

Also, how do I actually buy stuff?

they are very cheap because u can manufacturer them

fixed prices everywhere .. buy them from the trading terminal .. u can find it in each city .. ask someone if u cant find it

get an 1x0 .. this is the lowest axe
they go for +2-3

there are many ways u can buy stuff in pe …
auction
street trading
trading terminal

dont do auction and street trading unless u know the prices for items well .. u could pay alot more if u dont know the actual market price …

trading terminal is MA’s shop and is always have same prices .. its a safe trading :smiley: :smiley:

Yep…

Pixie has best protection per pec..

I wouldnt use rifles until ya are higher in LB (Most effective skill)

So buy yourself 5 axes.. tt+ 1 PED Each

So about 8 ped per axe (if in full condition)

8x5 = 40 PED
pixie + repair = 25 ped.. (Depends on tt)
Get a FAP 5 From the Trade terminal.. = 15 PED
Total = 80 PED :slight_smile:

Keep some money behind incase ya get a bad luck streak..

Keep killing Argonauts until about 2K lb.. Than ask me when ya are at that stage and ill tell ya :slight_smile:

Get Pixie, Axe and Fap as everyone said. For a start I’d skipp the argonauts tough. I found they are a bit tough to kill for a start and you will keep fapping for ages. Wait till you can upgrade to rascal armour for an argo rampage. Much more effective. (oh yea, I would recommend upgrading to rascal after pixie, skip goblin, no point really)

I would recommend hunting daikibas and exosaur for a start with your pixie, you can even hunt them without armour when you got some basic skills, saves some repair cost… :wink:

um people there new VU TT weapons are good now to start with so…

If you are just starting out.

Ok first you have to make some descions

Do you want to go Ranged? You get hurt less, you need to heal less, but you do not get as many “Evade” related skills so that you will get hit more often when the creature gets close to you.

Do you want Melee? You get hurt more, you need to heal more, but you get LOTS of evade related skills so you will get hurt less later when you skill ranged. ( Personanly i like that option best)

If you are going Melee i’d recomend the Enblade-A fromt he Trade Terminal to gain Longblade skill. As there are some nice Longblade Weapons to use once you skill up.

If you go Ranged, you can get the Sollomate Opalo and/or the handgun in the Trade Terminal i think it’s M2201. You can use the Opalo when the creature is farther away and the handgun when it is up close.

Do buy Pixie Armour and stick to it for a while.

Then hunt Berycleds, Exosaurs, Combibo’s, Sabakumba’s, Snablesnots. There are plenty around almost everywhere. Stick to Young, Mature, old ones)

Keep at those mobs with that gear until you see your skills realy slow down. then move to higher weapons like an Axe 1x0.

Opale from trade terminal, set of pixie armor (~ tt value plus 10-15 peds, also take it to the repair terminal and make sure its at 100%), fap 5 from the tt (15 peds), and spend the rest of your peds on ammo and start a recycling business with the ammo :slight_smile:
