Anyone know Facts about them ?
Last Weekend 4 Pre Gold Items got sold for a huge Pile of Peds.

1 Outbacko and 3 Dmg Amps 104 something.

I would like to Know if its true that :

They NOT Decay ?

Would Insane to have 14 Additional Damage for Free.

I allready Saw the Pregold Amp didnt needed Ammo and the Outbacko had more Range.

What Kind of Pre Gold Items are around in PE, what makes them so Special and Valuable ? I have read Pre Gold Items Decay and if you Repair them they get Fixed and lose the Status.

So whats True now ? Do they Decay or not or just do Some Items Decay and some not ? Any News about the Repair Thing. I have Read they maybe Plan to
Make Pre Gold Items Permanent even if you Repair them (if they decay)

The main difference is that pre-gold items often have different (better) stats.
Not all items changed, but alot did.
Most weapons used to have more range.
Some scopes/lasers didn’t decay.
Amps didn’t burn 1 ammo, so they costed 1 pec/shot less.
The stats on those items changed after pregold by repairing them, meaning that the people that didn’t repair their items yet still have the same stats :smiley:

Yea, what Einstein said. Also, you cant get away from the fact that PreGold items is very much a statussymbol aswell!

Alot of people are waiting for the Pregold items to get “acient” status.

Ya, I have a few pre-gold non-decay scopes and lasers…
none of them decay yet, but I’ve never stuck them accidentally into repair term… lol i guard them with my life :wink:

Ahh so the Dmg Amps decay (just safe you the 1 shoot ammo burn and cant repaired without losing that Stats) and i can be happy that i got outbid on 2.7k ped ?

Yep, they sure do decay. But the people who bought them are problably hoping for them to turn into Ancient, or they’ll turn out to be completely useless, as you can’t repair them…
Ancient mode means that the items will keep their stats even after you repair them.

Facts? Sure:

Pregold items are items from before the game went gold, they normally have an equivalent in Post-gold item.

Normally the stat’s on the pregold are better than the current version.

Repair a pregold gun and you will also get the updates stats. (ie, you lose the pregold item and get a regular one)

Non-decaying items are not necessarily pregold. The two are distinct issues.

MA may introduce something called ancient status, which will lock the stats on pregold kit and allow it to be repaired safely.

Marco stated somewhere (cant remember where) that all non-decaying items are considered bugs and will be fixed someday. So I dont think the scopes and lasers will ever turn ancient.
