Just a quick poll about post count as it relates to Hello’s/Welcome’s and Hofs…
Would you all like to continue to receive “post count” when you post on these threads or do you think receiving such post count encourages ppl spamming too much
Here are the two simple options
Yes! I think we ought to gain post count in Hello’s and Hof’s threads!
OR
No! No need for post count there… it just encourages spamming!
If someone really posts only for post count Id rather see that going on in those sections… Far better than saying just something to every page of every discussion thread.
this coming from “top poster”… NO I dont think they should be counted X) atm Im staying out of Hi and Hof’s threads so I wont have the same reputation as uhm.. a certain other forum-top poster.

Ya- same here for the most part. I don’t see why I should get more post count credit just because I happen to be on this forum all the time :laugh:
But still, I feel bad not saying hi and grats to ppl lately
And Essi’s point is good… in the end, post count or no post count, it does not really matter to most of us here
I voted yes but I wish their was an “I don’t care” option.
Post count means nothing to me, after being part of so many forums and seeing people who spam and spam just to have a higher post count or moving their title up it’s all finally lost its meaning. :rolleyes:

Good point- I thought of doing an “I don’t care” but then I thought that most ppl would probably choose that option, since post count isn’t that big of a deal to the avg person
