Hey, Im wondering how many of you guys use pricefinder and how you use it.

Improvement suggestions are as usual welcome…

it is a large database of all recent auction sales (non-buyout) that is incredibly detailed, and helps you get accurate information on recent market trends :slight_smile:

I use it now and then when I need it or unsure about prices. The site is great! All hail :bowdown:

Havent used it but I know what it is… so no poll option for me :slight_smile:

I buy maybe 1 item per month after watching markets and considering carefully - dont really need it.

our newbs are always asking what pirce things are ingame and i have 2 comp’s so it’s easy for me to chek and make sure they dont get scammed.

I voted both web and irc, but I also love the monitor item feature!

Ah, it’s an excellent little tool, that’s right :wink:

Use it only on the webpage really, have yet to fiddle around with this item monitoring feature though.

I always use the ircbot to get a quick and rough check on what’s an item worth, and if i wanted more detailled info i went to Roulette’s Auction History, but now that you designed that adjustable frontpage i really think i’ll start using Pricefinder more :slight_smile:

I use it on IRC mainly because Im too effin lazy to find my perc password.

But when I dont trust the one-entry bot reply, I’ll search the item’s history on the webpage.

I still havent used the ‘watch/report’ function starfinder. but I will, ohhhh, I will. (nor have I ever used ebay.. sooOoo nuts to you dirk. ;))

(and yes i still think perc should have a password to prevent ‘career’ gamers from abusing it.)

(maybe the bot should be able to retrieve and dcc-chat whole item histories?)

I have thought of some new additions to the bot…

!price = Avg price over the last 14 days.. as it is on Pricefinder
!last = Latest price.. as the !price command works now…

Btw.. If you can use cookies… you can have the site auto sign you in :wink:

Used it today to verify the non-existance of Bear Thighs. At least the non-existance of ended auctions on them…

I do not use pricefinder myself, but heard great things about it nevertheless :wink: If I really need to know something I check auctions & with mates :slight_smile:
