I wish they’d make it possible to exchange rare tokens (with regular M tokens) like for example 30k M tokens for 1 rare token on the Mayhem vendor. Or automatically be able to refine them to convert X m tokens into one rare token at specified amount that MA could decide. I personally think 30k M tokens for 1 rare token is fair and retains a balance. It takes commitment to grind to 30k tokens in one mayhem and you can then plan ahead to sacrifice them but guarantee yourself to get enough rare tokens in the end. This way it’s not just the lucky ones. It’s just gonna be too much of a pain to have someday 100k+ m tokens but 0 rare tokens and that shouldn’t be possible imo.

Like how in the old days if you where lucky to loot an uber item from let’s say a longu, for example?
Thing is, one token is nothing. You need at least 2.
And I tried out the instance, and it went from interesting to grinding in less than an hour. I start feeling like when I used to mine CND back in the day.
I guess this event is for very dedicated players, or bots.
Ahh well, to each their own. I’ll just go hunt whatever I fancy that day with my daily token weapons and hold the vein believe that there is an nice item out there that is not in a stronbox or a mayhem price. It might be foolish but for me it is more fun then standing in a square box you can’t leave without dying and shooting the same mob that loots shrapnel.

None in my case mostly doing cat 4 this time. I’m mostly a miner, so hunting is a nice change of pace where I can just hit the f key on occasion while watching something or even working. Too much multi-tasking if I’m mining, so I won’t complain about rare tokens much (yet).
This would not at all benefit MA, so, that will never happen.

MA wants you to buy more boxes and/or grind more to get rare tokens.
And, if you’re (un)lucky to loot a rare token, you’re forced to keep grinding to get enough normal tokens to even be able to spend that rare token, otherwise it’s completely useless.
It’s just another wonderfully sick system that MA implemented here to keep you guys spending.

i am at zero rare 8k normal.
I disagree on the “swap X of one for 1 of another”. the RNG of drop levellled the playfield.
what is wrong is the usual wrong distribution of the game randomizer.
i would have introduced an “accumulated chance” like every ped shot make it “easyer” to drop one…

like chance = 1 / (1.000.000 - cycled) so as i cycle 1m ped i am sure that it is 100%
having some avatar over 5 is just an error, if token are not tradable.
There are WORSE things like changing the rules during the match
( i refer to increasing to 2 rare the BP110 cost BEFORE the actual stock is sold out…
that makes obtaining a weapon 2x harder and is another FAIL like the “[COLOR=rgb(84, 172, 210)]Cyrene treason” of 2020)

This game its dynamic, and it should be like that, no matter if some cry because they didnt get one. And the chance of you getting one ofc its higher if you kill more mobs, what you ask is a bigger drop rate if you kill more which is not the same thing.

Well right after voting i looted my 2nd rare in the new format. Probably in the region of 800k-1m cycled across all mayhems since halloween. Easy to say with a few in the bank but I prefer the rare tokens being scarce, grinding the mtokens feels like the bigger challenege, unless you’re aiming for a 3+ rare item. And there’s still ways to brute force it (strongboxes - which i still disagree with).
I think the bigger problem is that MA needs to fix rare items not hoffing if you already have a stack, so we can better see as a community how they’re spread. I honestly take people saying they’ve looted 5-10 with a grain of salt. Always worth considering what they’d gain from either lying or telling the truth. There’s a lot of people who would be happy to spread misinformation if it gets them ahead in this game.

i’ve also killed 231,053 mobs between the last 3 mayhems
based on the results of this poll, there are plenty of people in my current situation, but not a single one of those have anywhere near the same input as me. Meanwhile respondents to this poll that have same or greater input as me have been rewarded at least twice as much (some much more) as me.
if this was the real world i would simply just purchase what i want/need for my business, but MA doesn’t even paywall it, they just tell you to buy some keys and goodluck son.

Wasn’t 1 M token = 1 ped ? Just buy lots of pills and sell them.
Another option is to quit the game.
