Lets hope so indeed, and that they leave the loot on the other mobs alone !
But I guess the financial predictions fell through and now we have events for the rest of the year.
Really starting to hate these events.

New Missions? Can’t find any… …
Its allways like that when MA needs new money they put in a super mob many ppl loot from it but only few who is selected get the good items.

If they want to draw new players with this event, I hope new players will be able to play a role in it … not only old players!!

Smells beacons on the horizon…
Since the event hasn’t started yet we don’t know for sure whether or not it involves miners and crafters. Seeing’s this is supposed to be the first event of it’s type, it may very well have limited materials and BP’s in the mix in order to meet certain gloals so that we can decide our fate throughout the mission. I’m not saying I’m expecting it to involve all professions in-game, but every hunting event in the past has brought on numerous threads about how miners and crafters are left out. So who knows… I’m sure we’ll find out more over the next week and a half.

sounds like to me YET ANOTHER event geared towards the ubers getting everything nice, since they will be the only ones able to defeat the final bosses with the “rare and expensive items” saddens me really, cuz i dont have 50k USD to depo to become uber 
Well i know quite a few people who looted very uber items during SGA and they were not Ubers in the sense you think of ubers but they were willing to die a lot or team up and die less for the chance and the enjoyment of it all.
Perhaps save your saddness till the event actually finishes, i dont have 50k to depo to become uber either and not to many people i know have that kind of money to throw into the game but we still get stuck in and enjoy ourselves it isnt all about being an uber it’s about having a go, doing the best you can, enjoying it all with your mates.

forgive me for not being very optimistic, especially after the hydra trials event, and watching how that one panned out. yes i kept on top of that event, since it started, eager to see the outcome. only to be disappointed that i couldn’t participate in any other way, than to sit on the sidelines and watch, or kill coordinators that cost a fortune because their loot was crap for the majority of the people killing them
i realize i cant win any event set up by FPC, because ive only been playing one year and still part of a newb soc, i accept that fact. but thats not what bothers me about this game, what bothers me is that these events are designed so that only the big kids get to go on the ride, because everybody else is still shorter than the line on the sign saying “you must be this tall ->________<- to ride the roller coaster”. i feel like they are dangling a piece of candy just out of reach, and slowly raising it up as i grow
sid, the hydra event was just a small event leading up to this. hydra just set the setting for it.
Whats to come is a whole diffrent style of event, im guessing more like the 2008 robot war but utalising the missions. Or the 2009 ones with double and even tripple skill gains.
lol if that was just the appetizer then the event coming in the next few weeks is gonna totally suck for the lower level players are they going to disregard us completely this time? it seems like it with those steel birds, that have well over 1K health and do 60 ranged type dmg almost every time it hits. newbies are going to need fappers to take them on, if they want to participate in this one

not an appertizer, hydra is a completely diffrent style event. It was just kicking off the new direction of the story.
Either way, i cant tell you what big invasions are like, you can only experince them yourself.
