Seriously tho, I have nothing against it. My only thought on pKing is this:
If it doesnāt make the person you killed mad, you havnāt done it properly.

Well, Faustian..PK is allright, even if Old Alphas dont do it unless attacked :eek:
As all sports, Pk:ing has to be done with style, and sofar I havent seen many with style doing it, except for the old cK:s..

After a couple of days, yes I was a n00b then too, I challenged him for a duel in pvp one, and he accepted..it was really fun, and after he killed me he took me on a great huntingtrip, and since then we been friends..
Sometimes I regret the rules in OA, and wish I could go in to pvp3 to get rid of some frustration, so I have no problem with beeing killed in pvp, as long as they do it nicely, and dont let me suffer to much, and die slowly in pain.. :silly2:

Well, I donāt care about being killed, as long as Iām not mining or trying to loot something. PvP means danger after all, we all know the rules and everyone has to have fun
Getting killed by some leet player with leet stuff and leet skills after a few hundred shots is always fun :laugh:
PK is not for me.
So far I havent killed anyone in pvp zones and I have only been pked once (when in oil queue loong time ago). I think pkāing should happen and stay in pvp areas. You kill players there, you have your argues and such there, but you dont take them outside pvp. And I think most of time its nothing that you should take personally - and still even if it is, I would like both parties to behave when not in pvp.
I think its great that pvp areas are so clearly separated from rest of the game. I really dont like what some people always suggest - that whole PE should be pvp. I have played two mmorpgs where whole world was pvp area and I know enough that I dont like the players in those kind of games. I also dont like the idea of violence being āsolutionā for every problem.
Personally I dont go in pvp areas since I dont like to pk or like to get pked. Im emotionally way too sensitive for that.

I hated ck intensely for some time after gold. I mined my best and when having 5+ claims up they ALLWAYS came and raped me :scared:
my ass still hurts. sometimes they seemed to camp my claims till they vanished so they could drop a bomb and take my noob money. well they made pvp lots of fun I remember pvp1 was filled with ores for a while..
hmm and now.. pvp is fun unless one part have imp or modfap. ruins the fun really.

I hate the invisibility bug though, some random guy shooting at me and I end up lying on the ground in no time :rolleyes:
Aside from PE I played 2 more MMORPGs. They were real medieval RPGs. Actual Role Playing Games. PE is not an RPG really, nobody Roleplays there, itās more of an economical lottery.
In RPGs, where emphasis is on the plot and reputation, I hated PKers and PK.
Skill loss, item loss, plot loss for your character.
In PE - the case is totally unique and different. I like PK in Entropia, because it is separated into PVP zones. If you want to PK and be Pked, but not looted, or looted - you can have a freedom of choice.
I totally love the CK attitude and the oilrig atmosphere, for I spent months there as well.
My favourite PKer was Gem. Gemās Natural Born Killer - style attitude made this avatar totally charming. A friendly converser in a town bar, yet ironically fierce enemy in PVP. With words like: āitās nothing personalā, or āIf I donāt kill you, whatās here to talk about?ā, she sometimes totally made my day.
Because in PE death comes at no skill cost and at no critical item loss, PVP is completely fun. I rarely carry loot with me, and I donāt mine in PVP, so it is not frustating for me.
I go to PVP for 3D shooter experience. Although the action seems kinda primitive for a 7-year experienced Quaker, its still fun.
hehe yes All your PK do belong to me! THe big issue for me at the moment is the cost of pk on my pocketbook. I used to pk so much that i spent any of the profit and alot of the savings i had pking anywhere i could do it. I love to pk but in the last fe months i have really cut back because of that, almost āretiringā unless of course there is a good excuse for it. I remember like Moser said when Ck controlled pvp1 i would mine under there nose and would often get shot as soon as i saw the green dot show up on radar. THe mining in there was so awesome and the excitement of running and getting shot at in there made me addicted to going back over and over again. Of course at this time when you died you had to run back as ghost to container then respawn and go back again which was kinda a pain but well worth the amount of ores you got in my opinion. THis is when i was in Black Legion and i was always trying to convince those guys to stand with me against CK ( of course we would have had no chance at all, but in theory ;)), and a few times we attacked them to no avail. Ck made pvp really exciting for me which may or may not have instilled such a lust to pk all the time (I also just like to pk, many other games have tought me this). I really liked the pvp1 area that was very rich with minerals, and i was sad when all of those minerals were mostly removed :(. When the oil rig was put in i was immediately drawn down there to wait in the oil rig lines (I didnāt invest for first year of playing so often i was scrounging around for peds), and that is where i met many of my friends that are or were in Calypso Thunderstruck. CT was pretty much formed around the pvp2 of the time, and thatās where we all really got together to have fun and pk around the rig. At this time i would pk whenever i had the chance or peds To cutthings short CT had many battles around the rig, the largest was probably with Death Legion which isnāt really around anymore. Damn i gotta go eat ill finish this later LOL my gf is pissed!
wow essi just totally changed my view about the whole place being pk.
I think pk could use a serious improvment though. Cause there is not much point to it now. I love hearing the stories of when cK owned pvp i wish we had new stories like that. Last great PE storie was when the revival terminal got stolen.

I had fun last time I ran around with a Foxtrotā¦ all except for 75% of the time I kept getting bugged and so did others..
Had fun fighting alot of people at once (and was sad when I didnāt run into any real ubers to fight/die to :laugh: ) but I was very VERY dissapointed when over and over we couldnt hit each other even after we both stopped and stood still shooting jesters back and forth. Stupid servers.
I think PVP is great though, some people are idiots with it though and theāll just be the scum of PVPā¦ let them be that if they wish. Keep it friendly and dont get angry when you get PKād in a PVP zone.

LOL well i suppose they made it like that in a way but that was only part of the addiction I also used to love playing UNreal Tournament and CS alot so you can say i like to pk from those games too. CK made the pvp 1 zone fun to be in because i always had to look over my shoulder when i was mining all those minerals muhahaha. It was funny because often i would sell things for Rei and so i would have to come into the zone to deliver her peds, and whenever i would come in Heart especaily would always want to shoot me I thought they added a huge aspect of fun to everything in PE at the time.
