After a disconnect, when I log back in, if I have been teamed, the team bar is gone from my view, but I am still on the team. My team members also get disbanded. If I try to add a team, it says I am already on one. If I try to add a member, it says I must be a team leader. Definately an issue.
LOOT. This has become worse and worse since I’ve started playing 4 months ago. I can go literally for an hour of hunting with no loot. I waste lots of ammo doing this. How can one kill 8 atrox guardians in a row, and get no loot from that? The ammo burn on this is crazy, and to get no loot is just ridiculous. I can’t put $10 a night into a video game without first getting divorced, quitting my drug addiction, and down-sizing my apartment.
LAG - it has become horrible in places. Sometimes when I go to switch my weapon using a hotkey, it will take up to 5 seconds for the weapon to switch. Other times, I’ll be shooting a mob, the bullets are able to hit 5 seconds later. Other times, I’ll see the mob running at me, and then all of a sudden I am dead. I have a super-fast broadband connection, and when their is no lag, everything is very smooth and timely. Lag happens way too much.
COST - Things have gotten out of hand with pricing. I understand its a free-market, but when you decrease the loot being paid out, the market prices for everything is going to go up. So, despite the claim MA, this isn’t a free market - its a fixed market. If you ask me, it needs to be fixed further.
Chat errors: as soon as anyone that I have talked with adds a 3rd person into their team, the team leader cannot communicate with one of the team members through team chat, and we all end up using society chat instead. Society chat sucks for hunting because you cannot see damage (unless you go into options and click done, and then it gets fixed), and you cannot see the loot distribution. Nice, heh? It’s not just us either - I’ve talked with others who have the same issue.
MINDARK - I hope you’re listening. Have you seen the number of active players decreasing? This is because you have taken the loot payout down. The cost of everything has gone up because of it, and it stinks. I don’t even want to play anymore, and I used to love this game. I would put money into it, even if I wasn’t going to get it all back. I should get most of it back though. Instead, I am throwing countless money into ammo, decay, and the like.
ok a fix to your mmoney prob definately stop the addiction or move on to coffe it’s much cheaper and i have learned patience is a virtue in this game so if you wait a little bit that special item you are looking for is a little expesive just wait usually everyone gets burned out on it and prices just go down , or people realize it doesnt sell as well
the only lag i have noticed is in highly populated areas eg. PA
the loot prob i dunno i have looted many mobs and came up with nothin as well

You must be able to hunt a load of monsters if you want to have a chance to break even. Or just pray to the Evil Lootius for some extra luck. If you don’t want to burn too much cash, hunt low-end monsters with a RepEdge, you should break even on a long run.
Agreed. However, lag is decreasing with each VU (which sure is a good thing) and MindArk probably won’t do anything else until VU 7.2…

I agree that wasting real cash is a pain. However, if you can’t afford the losses, just switch to a cheaper way to have fun : no armor, no FAP, RepEdge Battle Axe 1x0. Try it.

Well you cant blame MA for this one, really. Its the people who set the prices. Items are only worth as much as people are willing to pay.

Well it happens. Usually it means either A) you should move you ass somewhere else or B) the ones who DO loot, loot very well.

Have you thought about it might be your comp or line causing it, not the servers? Since well, I run it fiiiiiine here, I normally dont experience any noticable lag unless I run two avatars by alt-tabbing to get my stuff.

Question I would ask is what your current skill level and does it suit the weapon you are using? As a guideline, I find using a Justifier MK2 or greater with less then 2000 rifle a pointless waste of cash as efficiency and average damage is key. If a mob isn’t looting well, then move onto another and try them. Sometimes the loot cycle isn’t happening in one area.
Haven’t noticed any lag, except in PA when its heaving with people. Check your RAM as well. I use to have massive lag when I had less then 512megs as the Hard Disc would start swapping. Since ungrading to 756megs it help a lot. Turning down some of the graphic options can help.
Well ultimately its the market that sets the prices and as soon as there is a belief that shortages exists then things will go up. On the other hand some things have gone down in price, some high end weaponry for example can be got at bargain prices.
