PE is craping out on me...HELP!

Ok, after doing everything i could to save my stuff from a trojan i had that no one could fix, i decided that nuthing is helping. So, today after scool i got home and i reformated my comp, lost everything, dled my drivers and everything, then i dled PE… I started it up after all the updates only to have my screen be totally white with the sounds still playing though. I can view invetory, skills, and options though which i thought was wierd, but i cant see anyone or anything… Some one please help me out and post back im all ears now man … ive tryed everything with the resolutions and stuff… only 2 things were i might have gone wrong was maybe i dled the wrong video card software, or i dled directx 9.0 rong, but then again i dunno alot about comps

btw, i got a Latitude d600 dell laptop, and an adi mobility radeon 9000 if that helps any

Trying different video card drivers might help.

Even if it would be right driver for your card, there is possibility that the very latest version dont work. Usually there is also older versions available so it might be worth trying even a bit older version.

I have recently bought a brand new laptop with STi radeon mobilty 9000 graphics card and it works fine with PE iam useing the latest ATI drives so it shouldent be that. I have found that low memory and or low virtual memory can cause problems similar to this.
