OK, st00pid n00b alert!
I got m’self a rifle, some ammo, some armour - all pretty standard stuff from a TT.
Now I want to get those 50+ PED kills that I see… I went out and killed a mob and got… 19PEC :rolleyes:, so how do I enter the bigtime??

Hunting the little creatures will always cost more (ammo, weapon damage) than the loot gives you unless you´re really lucky.
You will have to do just like all of us did, hunt, hunt, hunt and hunt!
…and hopefully one day you will get that 50+ ped loot.
Some people get a good loot after only a couple of days in the game, others get their first after one year (or more) in the game.

Learn to walk before you can run
First if you bought the armour from TT ? Then sell it back the trade terminal, its not worth it. Get yourself some Pixie or Goblin armour from auction, or on the open market (Port Atlantis). Buy yourself a FAP5 (fast aid pack) from the terminal. The Opalo rifle from TT is worth while for a newcomer, so worth keeping for now
Without knowing where you are, its hard to say what to go hunt. Im taking it you are at Port Atlantis. Head SE and hunt the mobs (creatures) herds there. At first you need to aim for the small mobs. Reason is these are the most effiecient for your skill level. You need to get your skill level up before you can start hunting the larger mobs!! You never know you could get lucky and get a global on one of these 
Hunting small creatures can pay off. Its not garuanteed that hunting larger mobs that you will get money, but just as much chance of losing, and more likely to lose a lot more PED than hunting the small mobs.

the games random. u could get from one creatue 1 ped or a couple of pec and another 40 ped so just kill anything that moves imo
my best loot is 6PED 
mines 42 ped and it was only my 2nd time when i went hunting was a poor mob
my best hunting loot is 383 ped and my best mining hof (ATH back then(last summer)) is 3000 ped. crafting…i wouldnt know.
think it is deffo a case of luck some people might never have any loots and others might get loads.
how cute, play few years, hunt 24/7 and u might get lucky :kos:

Good luck with your quest
I started last week and deposited 300 ped on Monday. Thursday I was skilling up on Combibos and got my first HOF; it was 509 PED. Off to a great start.

I suspect that ppl how made deposit(s) has bigger chance to good loot, and not onl because of better starting equipement.
Better starting equipment… hehe… a newbie with better starting equipment would lost shitload of cash because he would not be able to use it efficiently. Before you change gun from Opalo to Mk2 be sure that you got like 500-1000 in riffle skill. Or try to get Adj Hero when you are 500 riffle and mk2 when you are 1500 in riffle

I totally agree, I also went out on my first day and bought the settler armor and opalo rifle. I ended up on this forum and got the same advice you are getting now. I sold my armor and bought a complete rascal armor, and kept the opalo. I’m am doing much better on my hunts :handgun: (I stay alive longer ) and
increasing my skills.
Have not gotten any really big loots yet, but I am still having fun.

Get an Opalo, FAP-5, Pixie armor (amp A103 or A104 if you want higher damage for bigger mobs) and hunt a lot . And may luck be on your side :yup:
It’s easy to get a HoF. All you need to do is wait until it’s full moon, and when the time is exactly 00:14:42 (14 minutes and 42 seconds past midninght) you lift your phone, dial 0 to get the operator, ask for connection 4443, hit pound (#) twice, bark like a dog and then hang up. Quickly after that you need to put on your santa beard and santa suit while you’re eating spagettios with toothpaste sauce. Just right before you eat the last scoop of spagettios you need to… eh… you know what… nevermind…
