coming from anarchy online, i was looking for a real “newby faq” containing some do’s and dont’s that new player prevent from doing some real bad desicions; well, here are MANY forum entries giving some information about specific problems, but it seems that besides the manual from mindark, there is no compressed general nOOb primer or sort of kickstart doc from the community.
Sure, I’ve read those handbook piece of, but standing out there in the vincinity, i somehow dont know what to do NEXT (that ist, besides of wandering around and getting experience when getting killed by mobs).
I think such a noob primer from the community should be available to make things easier for those of us that didnt get a kick out of finding out the hard way how a trigger is pulled - at least thats my ho.
Any idea? I guess, that primer already is somewhere round there, i only didnt find it yet?
Oh, and btw: gaining xp by getting attacked (not by killing a beast) is a really GREAT idea!
I suggest www.perc.info for the best newbie tutorial. There is also another PE related forum called Entropia Pioneers… as the largest of the PE forums it offers a wide array of newbie tutorials and advice.
