After a frustrated Bery hunt in which I lost more than 30 PEDs from 90 used to hunt, I decided that what was worth was the skills I got and not the loot itself. So to stop me from getting affraid of going out hunting everytime I come back with a loss, and to get massive skills, I decided to do a hunt twice as big as I normally do. So I got myself 11k ammo, inserted an A103 in each of my two trusty Opalos, took a deep breath and ventured into the blue plains north of Zeus. Since I had just arrived from a hunt with sucky loot, I wasn’t too surprised that the loot in the beggining was so poor. Suddenly, I got a 36 PEDs mini, and my heart had a little sparkle of hope in it again. And in the next mob I killed right after the one with 36 PEDs:

(It looted 52 PEDs, a sollomate crusho, en-knuckles 2 and 10 stinktree boards, possibly some soft hides, too. The 36 PEDs highlighted next to it were from the mob I killed before the one with the jackpot)
Now my heart had not only a sparkle of hope again, it was filled with it. The fact that I globalled right next to someone, for the first time, helped in that, too :evilking: (Please don’t hate me for that, Skanzz).
Well, everything was beautiful once again, to me, and I wasn’t so worried about the no-looters that came soon thereafter…
Until I wasted so much ammo on them that the risk of not breaking even was slowly coming up. I was getting worried already. It was the same ol’ story: MA gives, and then takes triple as much away.
I almost decided to switch mobs, but then I remembered that I wasn’t there for the loot in first place, so I calmed down. I finnally came to my last 5 PEDs of ammo, and saw captainmary get a global. I said to myself: “Nice, there goes the Bery loot pool. It was already bad till now without any people getting globals.” While he globalled I was fighting an old bery, and right after I had that thought, it died, and gave me another little hope on the berys:

(It looted 24 PEDs, another sollomate crusho, an A101 amp, kobold thighs and gnome thighs, which are barely visible int he picture because they are almost right underneath the kobold shins. It made a total of 47 PEDs).
I was thrilled. I had been looking for the kobold shins for quite a while, now. I couldn’t barely believe that the ones that dropped were male, too (every time I’m looking for a specific armor drop, it drops F :rolleyes: ).
When I came back to town after my ammo was over, I checked my loot, and here’s what I got:

It made up for all my crappy hunts today, and still gave me some profit. It’s the first hunt I have, that even if I gave everything away except the gold coins, I’d still have a profit, lol.
