just a short bit of info: today newbies have been spawning in Argus for some strange reason. A glitch with testing the new tagged client for the Space Resort?
We did our best to help and I beleive some actually succeeded despite the obvious confusion amongst the new participants.
I’m not sure anyone actually offered to take them to Phoenix though :tongue2:
how the hell they spawned there? maybe another bug like that one near billy’s.. always i come to billy’s from West,even if i die really near the turrets,i get respawned at that outpost West from billy’s.. 
It is a matter of load balancing in the system - the influx of newcomers is quite large, and therefore not everyone comes to Port Atlantis. It is designed that way.
Yup, back when I stared last year in December 2004 during the TI craze I spawned in Cape Corinth.
No this is what happens when MA decides PA is too busy… they spawn noobs at other cities (can we even call them cities? even the larger “towns” are nothing more than outposts)…

Ahhhh..I warned you all!!! We’ve been /.ed cuz of the Space Resort Sale!
This happened with the TI sale. Orange started popping up all over the place.
Soon..our tranquil little planet will be covered with Orange suits yelling “gimme ped! I am noob!”
Actually..this is a good thing cuz lots of them will deposit…bwahahahaha!!!

Bingo! There has already been an upsurge in orange from what I’ve read, heard and saw. Wheee! The mroe the merrier I say…the loot pool will be better for it.
I spawned in Nymph after the TI sale…sniff sniff…I don’t get back to my birthplace very often… :dunce:

Great to see a new wave of newcomers arrive! And thx for clarification. I thought the spawn-in-different-cities was just a part of PE History Books

back when i started almost 3 years ago (or is it longer???) I was birthed in Jason Center. Lemme tell ya. the game wasn’t too much fun trying to load up/run out of Jason on a 56k dialup that got speeds more like 20k.
Awesome! great to see that the press created is bringing many new eyes into Entropia, at least let them see how great the experience is.. truly unique

Me too. When i was kicked from the space shuttle, I landed there. Now, when I see how busy it is at PA, and how ppl are sometimes behaving with noobs, I am not regretting to be a Atlas Havanian.

Would it be possible for MA to make drastic changes to the mentoring system straight away?
I am expecting the dickwads who just lure noobies for the free ME items to be laughing their collective asses off with this. It would also mean the new people would have a far better first experience with the game and the community.
There were new arrivals in AH last night as well seems MA are using quite a few places for new arrivals
