I’ve set this society up for anybody who wants to take part in a land grab tournament! That’s right, everybody is welcome to join and the more members we have, the more chance we have of claiming a land in the next land grab area.
If there are a 1000 of us, facing 10 MASSIVELY TOUGH fighters, im guessing we have a fair chance of fending them off. Lol, 10 of us gather around each of them - trapping it, while others shoot from outside. Hah! It would be hilarious seeing them fall at our mighty hands!
And we would always have people available to be revived and can come back before the rest of 999 are killed.
So any newbie want to join, go right ahead. Every application will be accepted.
The aim of this society is to provide newbies or average level players the chance to have a claim in a land grab area. Its true that sharing the profits between larger numbers would mean less profits per person, but this society is about providing the experience to everyone.
If you would like to join, please post a message here and find us at the society terminal.
“We fight together, we die in large numbers together, we gang attack the tough guys together”
Hehe
PS: No offence to tough guys, we just want to provide the full extent of Project Entropia to all members. Nothing personal against you guys, in fact, we aspire to become you guys one day
If there were thousand people I think the only thing you’d be facing was massive lag no disrespect But yea, also just 200 members pr soc. 200 people fighting over the claim is more then enough tho
I never understood, how it works… so can anyone make a soc, then fight for an land area, and if he wins it, is there any prevention that the leader of soc could not just kick off some members to keep his own profit?
[QUOTE=deo]
crap, 200 people better be enough, what is there, like 6 cK members?
sounds interesting, but i like my current soc, too bad ya cant be in 2, lol.
plan on buyin land sooner or later anyways

As you might not know, but you will if you look at “killing spree” HoF’s, it is very much possible for more experienced players to kill off 200-250 other players without beeing taken down himself. 200 newbie players up against warants or something like that would most likley just end up in a huge blood bath I am sure. The thought was cool though, but not possible. How would you plan to take down an avatar with 250 HP, Full eon and Mod fap ? And how do you plan to take down like 6 or 8 of them ? Or to mention players like skalman and meny more, that not only have good gear and skills, but also are hardcore FPS players that would beat us all in most FPS games.

Erm, you guys have mentioned FPS and Decay. I’m not quite sure what they are, if you can help.
And when you say, they can take 250 players on their own. OMG! That is scary.

Decay is MindArk’s cash cow. Thats where they get all their money. Each time you fire a weapon, each time your armor takes a hit, they decay. Decay, as far as we know, goes right into their pocket. No decay money makes it into the loot pool. And we don’t even know if the loot pool exists. Its all kinda speculation, but decay is where MA makes its money.
As for FPS, its First Person Shooter. Many games fall into this category, CounterStrike, etc. Any game where you move around and actually have to aim at your opponent and fire at him/her is a FPS. PE is one of the few MMORPGs that is a FPS.
The only way you can conquer an land area defended by one of the uber socs is by crashing the server and hoping you’re first to login and reclaim the claim
Those people impossible to kill even with 1000 noobs.
He fires 1 time, you’re dead.
You fire 100 times, he just has to heal once with his fap.
But lets say we were able to have one thousand members. 10 of the UBERS would have to shoot one hundred rounds at each of us, directly to kil us. Whereas, we would be firing one hundred rounds to each UBER every one shot they got off at us.
Secondly lets say they have 250 HP each, with their armours and FAPS.
How much time would they have to load their FAP and use it a few times, whilst 100 people were shooting at him. He would constantly have to be on the FAP I think.
But all that said, I know we can’t have 1000 members, so there goes that idea
id actually say that 200 noobs with opalos and jesters would have more sucess against an uber or 2 than you think. First of all theres the lag, with the uber having to track 200 lagging targets they are going to miss alot. second theres going to be a lot of hits to soak up, lets say 50x5dmg every second or two, death by a thousand cuts. i reckon a swarm of resonably organised noobs could actually take on a small well equipped group. Third, there’s the critical hit factor that would play strongly in the larger groups favour. forth there is the assumption that the noobs come up against the uber uber players.
