Any techie person here might know what to get and what not to get?
Right now, I’m considering under 300$ but I could spend upto 500$ (CAD btw) I definitely want an expandable memory one, with music, video, and image capturing capabilities. So far, I found: Motorola ROKR E1 and Sony Ericsson W600/W800i.
I just bought a nokia 9511i, cost me 220 with a one year plan, seems like a nice phone to me although i don’t really know what i am talking about when it comes to this kind of thing ( i held off on buying a cell as long as possible ;P), but this has camera, video, and microphone recording, i think 12 mb space, with bluetooth tehnology. For the price i like what i got. I have heard for even more money the motorola razor is pretty nice, but i didnt want to spend the cash. hope this helps
i have had the W800 for about 3 months now and its definately recommendable. It has a 2MP camera which actually takes decent pictures, and 4x digital zoom.
The mp3 functionality is easy and quick to use and the sound is pretty close to that of my mp3 player.
Edit: I paid about US$600 for it but you might be able to get it cheaper now.. but its definately worth the little extra cost.
Whew… thought I was the only one who liked the W800i. I’m trying to put off contracts cuz I just use prepaid (for emergencies only). I just wanna get more out of my cellphone. Right now I have Sony Z200, yea its old. (cost me around 130$ CAD) with no CONTRACT which is OK but I think I got ripped off though.
Anyways, I might be looking into Nokia phones (they look .. err.. abstract) but I just want features such as video, image, and of course good mp3.
