“Doria” is a greek name meaning “Place name”, a place, or the name Eudoria could have been taken from the Greek name Eudora which means “Delightful Gift”.
(i would guess Doria though, as to the EU/AME and Marco polo/behrmann stuff )
Amethera
“Thera”, another Greek name meaning “Wild”, just as MindArk told Amethera would be, a wild continent, Wild America, Wild West, and we had landgrab there too as in the Wild West.
What could be the names of other continents on Calypso ?
A Calypsian Asia, Oceania, Antarctica, Africa, South/North AMErica ?

the first is more of an introduction, the second actually deals with the ‘lost island’ ..
lets call it .. ‘Cancritias’ .. grin

or the Critiacian Ocean Colonies.. an exploration unit that ‘lost contact’ with the original landing party centuries before.. and still managed to survive, albeit, in a more ‘tribal’ fashion than the other settlers. these generational descendants ran out of power for their devices long ago, and have used more basic tools to survive the harsh ravages of Calypso.

We discover a small new continent with the upcoming Event System that is covered in ancient stadiums, performance halls and road ruins. The new continent was obviously an advanced lost civilizations entertainment Mecca.
The continent is name Olympia after the ancient Earth games of the gods, The Olympics…
A continent that was taken over by robots long ago, belived to have disappeared underwater and became a new atlantis. Found again, in a covering mist from the robot’s factory’s of duplicating themself and turning more advanced. The robot’s “home base”.
The small continent, one called Ocefoveo, which had a tropical enviorment, was never connected to the other continents. Therefore, the animals there were unique. Humans, wanting to explore Ocepudeo, settle there, and wanting to research the biology of the newfound animals, made the wildlife there near extict. Only the hardest and crulest animals survived our race’s wrong doings.

Yes. Ive been thinking about it more. It would have to need to be a “bubble” underwater for the robots to function there, so say either the robot’s evolved to funcion underwater or it will need to have buildt a buble over it. In that case the air there would be filled with CO2 from the facoties. You should need a oxygentank to swim down and be able to breathe in all the CO2. Almost like toxicshots for pvp3.
Or you could have to swin to it and it would be a underground city in a airbubble, like those undersea caves.
I’m pretty fond of ‘Elamshin’, it’s a Drow word meaning ‘Destiny’. (Drow being a constructed language, based upon the elven from J.R.R Tolkein’s works I think)

Its a nice word, but if its a tolkien word I would belive MA would need permission to use it, and at the same time it doesnt fit to e take word from one fantasy world to another
I’m not sure why but as I recall it Eudoria is to the east of Amethera(or well Amethera is west of Eudoria..) and the third continent(there’s three continents on Calypso..) should be south of Eudoria. As I said I’m not sure why I belive it to be so, but it would fit with America beeing in the west of Europe
So what lies south of Europe, Africa?

what I mean is, we should stick with how MA’s named pretty much .. everything. =) Look at your teleporter list.. the only one that isnt greek is like .. Billys.
I think maybe with the new event system we should also have something based on Archemedes’ works.. some kind of laboratory or .. ‘jungle gym’ for av’s to “play on” .. interactive catapaults, zip lines, obstacle courses we navigate with running jumps.. etc.
