My girlfriend left me after 1 year and 3 months together 
Im so depressed right now, because i still love her but she made it clear that it will never be the two of us again. Anyone have any suggestions what i can do to get over her? And meeting new girls isnt that easy for me because im very shy.
It takes time. Just know that you’ll feel better eventually. I’m not sure what to recommend to help it come faster.

Well, when Knuckles lost his girlfriend (she died of old age), he met Kalashi and they fell in love. So I guess a gay realtionship is needed to help get over her.

You need to focus on other things you enjoy and keep a good sense of humor. I find humor helps get past the toughest of times. If you loved us enough to tell us this news, then spend some time with those you have fun with in PE and real life. Get your mind off things taht bring you down.

Don’t expect this to be an easy or quick thing to get over. You’ll get over it offficially when you’re ready. For now, take it easy… sry to hear but it isn’t the end of the world (even though it may feel like it).
I always suggest starting some new things, as Jove suggested. See your friends more often, take up a new hobby or sport, etc. The more things you do the less time you have to sulk and feel sry for yourself (hehe, no offense… I’ve been in your position).

As for not rushing into things, I split up with someone when I was 19, we had been together for a little over 2 years, and hit hurt like fuck. All those nights watchin by the window, just on the off chance they were walkin back down the road to me.

alternately, just get back in touch with your male friends. all the time you used to spend with your girl, now, go hang with your buddies at the bar or club, go to some local music shows, catch a local band and that sorta thing. think of it as filling in the blank left by her leaving the picture. dont do things like play pe more than usual, thats just bullshitting yourself and youll know it, every minute that youre logged on. use this as a chance to improve or optimise some other part of your life. since ya got more time to yourself now, use it for something fun =D
