[SIZE=3]hey can any of you help. yesterday someone called ‘Fifti’ come up to me a said to go on this link.. but i went on it to check it out.. and as soon as i got on it, something instaled itself onto my pc and disabled my firewall? so straight away i deleted the programe that just instaled itself.. but today when i wanted to log onto pe. my password had been changed? i have sent a support case to ME using my brothers account but have you guys got any other ideas wat i can do? Not sure what exactly you’re looking to find here as far as help goes monkeyboy :rolleyes: Nothing can be done for you… contact support, fill them in on the issue, do all of the applicable/appropriate things necessary to your pc now that it’s been infected presumably, check your credit with your card companies, etc…
And never EVER EVER click on links that ppl throw out there in all chat unless you know the person or know of the website they are directing you towards :wise:

I barely knew what a .exe was before I started with PE :laugh:
And I think its good that monkeyboy at least came with the warning about this.
I got his nick, and a friend of mine who’s one of the leaders of a broadband-company in my region gave him a little scare about turning him into the police, alltho he offcourse couldnt do that, since he didnt have his logs. But it scared him away anyway

Hmm, if I’m not mistaken the link he tried was announced as a “HOF cheat”, “Get (at least) 2000 peds for free”. Anyone following such a link deserves to get his account hacked. Both for beeing stupid enough to believe it and secondly (if the link was real) to try and steal peds from MA.
Sorry, but I have no sympathy at all for this guy.
I saw a link like this announced in PA and imideately filed a case with a screenshot containing the message and a scan of the avatar.
I had a friend also who went to the website that contained the exe file.
He said he won 200 Ped…
I said, change password and scan for virus, because noone will ever give you 200 Ped, and it’s a trojan most likely.
He didn’t listen to me. Havn’t seen him ingame since that episode… :duh:
