I just love the ingame music… but havent heard it for some time now. Why? When one runs alone hunting as a freelancer with no friends logged in it gets too quiet…
Btw. when in chatmode i just hear mumble. sometimes when i am in a certain position from an avatar and look at my own feet i can hear it clear. It has been like this for ages. Why?

personaly i find i have the same problems and usually play with sound disable because of it. Sounds could realy use a re-vamp in PE.

I agree with you. I usually hate in game music and turn it straight off. But i thought the way that PE had it, it just added to the ambiance that is PE. I really liked it myself.
If there are no bugs associated with it, please put it back MA.
Although it could be due to slowdowns or lag. If do… I’ll live without!

exactly, if u would get in an laggy area, for example PA or Twin peaks, u could turn it off, and when out of there turn it on.

Well, there is an area in options that allows you to turn it off or down. I thought i had turned it off by mistake. But i guess they just made it so it doesnt work any more.

Seriously however, I sometimes hear music and sometimes not… and I’ve never messed with any of those controls… so not sure what’s up with the sound in game lately.
It is nice on a hunt, but I do use winamp and personally prefer listening to music that gets ME pumped up for a good hunt rather than what some1 at MA thought would be good music

A couple of the tunes I’ve heard in PE, I like, but a lot of them can be a bit annoying. But I still enjoy the addition to the ambiance.
Personally, I think electronica/industrial would be the best sort.
I remember reading somewhere that you can actually replace the music files in the PE folder to have it play the music you want. I’ve never tried it.
I must say, though, that I would like more control over the music being played - at the very least, a hotkey to skip to the next song would be nice, and a start/stop.
Maybe I should try to compose some music for PE? I wonder if MA would be interested in more “official” music? If not, maybe a CD or something for players for BG music…

You can… I used to know a few ppl in game who did just that… BUT it’s against the EULA somewhere (I guess it’s the third-party thing) so you could be banned for it

Mindark have stated somewhere (EP?) that they are interested in us sending in music. Neverdie got his “Gamerchick” ingame.

I know I would love to have MA use some of my songs! I’ve just never really gone about it because there really is no way too.. except filing a support case. :dunce:
