Might be a controversial take, but hard disagree on this one, old PCF was prolific with its use of negative reactions without actually contributing to a discussion, if someone doesn’t like or agree with a post now they’re encouraged to actually explain why instead of brigading posts with thumbsdown or other reactions.

Treating a negative reaction as an act of hostility or ‘brigading’ misinterprets the tool. A diverse set of reactions allows for quick, objective feedback; taking a simple emoji as a personal slight says more about the reader’s sensitivity than the reactor’s intent.
Eliminating reactions doesn’t force high-quality discussion; it just suppresses feedback. If someone disagrees but doesn’t have the time or desire to write a full essay, they just walk away. Furthermore, forcing people to type out simple disagreements actually clutters threads with repetitive ‘I disagree’ comments, which hurts readability more than a hidden tally of emojis ever could.
A single ‘Like’ button is an outdated, blunt instrument. If someone posts about a frustrating bug or bad industry news, hitting ‘Like’ feels completely inappropriate. Adding a wider spectrum of reactions both positive and critical gives the community the nuance required to express empathy, skepticism, or humor accurately.
Limiting options to just ‘Like’ creates an artificial echo chamber. If a post contains factually incorrect information, a ‘dislike’ or ‘skeptical’ reaction acts as an immediate visual warning to other users. Without it, dangerous or wrong advice looks universally praised just because the critics chose not to type out a reply.

That is where you are wrong.
Trolls and bullies use those type of negative reactions to belittle other people.
So I am against them using that plugin, also as someone who owns and has been a web dev for 25+ years - I know how it can affect people as well.
This day and age people are rude and nasty and giving them the tools to continue that nasty rudeness is a bad thing for the person on the receiving end and for the mods/admins of the forums.

There have been situations in the past where a group of players from certain soc would go and thumb down all the posts of a user, even went as far as going back to historical posts of a user to just thumb down the posts. That goes way beyond what you call reader sensitivity!
Since that is not moderated, no please do not implement that.
