I just got killed by a Diripi young. I wasn’t able to hit it once…
So is it just me or did they increase the chance of a miss with 2000% or something?
You have a point, i did notice the same but i thought i was hallucinating
i have a really hard time hitting snables that are right infront of me ( 10 meters away orso)
Keep a careful watch of the yellow reload bar. If you click/fire your weapon before it is finished, the server will register a click/fire, but since it hasn’t reloaded yet, a misfire may/will happen.
Make sure the yellow reload bar is full AND give an extra 0.5-1 seconds of pause before you click/fire again. I find the server has synchronization problems and thinks you are clicking before the reload is finished. I noticed my hit rate increase substantially with this method.

First off- I have not been in game yet, let it be known.
Secondly, I assume you have taken into account the severe lag and problems that come with each vu and often last for several days… perhaps this is what you’re experiencing 
Diripi HAS been hard to hit for several vu’s now, nothing new there.
I had a few that were buzzin my head. I just run on a bit, turn around and then shoot them. Miss the odd time because they are small, but not that bad.
Just don’t try and shoot them if they are buzzin your head, it’s next to impossible to kill them that way.

I dont even bother trying to hit them,they fly at mach3 swoshing over your head and hits without ever stopping their movement.I always drown them nowadays

but we have this problem with all mobs, specially in lagy areas
they got good dodge :laugh:
Had the same problem today. One got on me where I was mining. I had a very hard time hitting it, and wasted a LOT of ammo while trying. It kept zipping over, and was virtually impossible to get a ‘lock’ on.
I got a igni young in front of me that almost didn’t move that I couldn’t hit
I had to run away just to find that he had lots of brothers and sisters that share the same ammount of dodge , evade and avoidance.
And I wasn’t the only one.
though my friend was actually able to kill one. (out of many)
No gun of mine was able to hit it, and axes weren’t any better.
[Oh and in the last day of VU 7.4 althought there was lots of lag I killed over 200 so I know how it was to kill one]

I was hunting Drones today and on some of these i missed quite a bit. I have never missed that much in my entire time on PE… I even saw a guy hunting atrax and he shot like 7 peds before he killed the atrax young (he had a strong gun).
Ok, now i’m starting to see a difference. But I think the mobs are not positioned correctly, so you’re firing into a phantom mob sometimes. Some areas become laggy and mobs jump around, but this even happens with mellee where the mob stands on your head! :eek:
i was experiencing the miss miss miss situation aswell.. and i feel i have to quote MA when i say
‘use the proper (for your skill level) equipment on the proper (f.y.s.l.) mob’
cause i bought a new gun, and i started hitting 95% with it. i love it. =)

That happens to me a lot… I hate it… MOB is right up in your face… and you’re even pacing your shots… but you miss at point blank range.
Lets just face it, they have awesome evade and dodge skills…
MA has now “fixed” skilling, so that the skills we should be gaining, are actually going to the mobs… (was that rumour starting?..hope not, cos Im obviously kidding)
